Free platinums at merchant

Hi,

When i sell or buy something from Wale Bennal in the Crooked Way Shops in South Chonda i'm not able to sell anthing to him after the first conversation, i just get the 'deal' option with the persuade, intimidate and i'll put it back options, but everytime i talk to him there is 1 platinum added to my inventory, and i can click alot in 1 minute, imagine my wealth in 15 mins...

Personaly i think it would be good to use the generic NWN merchant scripts for most merchants. the new scripts are made to help rouges but they tend to be very buggy. this way we could have a set of "usable merchants" and a set of "loot-able" merchants.

Thats just my idea however.

I second the suggestion.

Standard merchants do not work with our coin system. They also have their own set of exploits (built for SP they do not work flawlessly in MP modes - there is a reason we force the PC to 'be naked' when dealing with the few LEGACY MERCHANTS you find in the starting areas).

We are nearly done debugging our custom system and will continue to use it exclusively so that we may achieve the desired outcome - a bug-free merchant that does all the things we want. Hang in there folks, now that Erin is back with us, bugs will be squished daily. Already Erin has handed off half a dozen separate packages of fixes for various things you nice people reported with bug tools over the last several months.

We are wading through the LOG data that those bug report tools generate - I'm sure YOUR personal favorite bug will soon expire if it has not done so already.
