Uglack, after a certain incident, would then not be seen by anyone for a long while as he tries to stay away from anyone he can. He doesn't want to hurt anyone else by mistake and he still cant control his new gift, if one could even call it that, and he would avoid all contact with anyone he ever knew about in order to keep them safe from him. Going near people is too risky as he hopes no one searches for him otherwise there is no telling what would happen...
