Boosting google

After looking for our server on google (usualy a look for nwn server lands us between 4th and 5th on the list) i saw that we now have some compitition with amia who have taken the 3rd and 4th spots. oddly doral seems nowhere to be found all of a sudden.

What search terms were you using? I'm still seeing us placed well for most all the targeted terms.

the exact term was "NWN Server"

i checked again and we are still on page 1 but i was still surprised that amia had passed us.

Thanks for the alert on that. I try to keep a finger on the pulse of the searches, sometimes I miss things, so extra eyes on the task are helpful. We try to monitor currently used terms when targeting work is done. So far, we are holding fairly steady with several links on the first page of each of our targeted searches.

One thing you ALL can do that is VERY VERY HELPFUL is to post messages with links to ArgentumRegio in them - on other sites. If one of our members posted to one of our threads (on another server) or started a new one - each such incoming link gives us credentials about the topic and keywords that we truthfully _are_ in fact.

There are many things that add up to great ranks in the engines - posting on other servers is one thing YOU can do that will boost us greatly in terms of 'topic coverage'.
