Unusual Activity: Esrogoth

Things have died down in the absence of the druids. What was a fairly large bonfire has become a large bed of glowing coals with only a handful of people standing by it.

The night is dark, save for that and the light being provided for the two guards standing at the gates to the Citadel.

*she looks at the different lights provided during the night at the guards then at the people by dying bonefire. She carefully makes her way to the fire glancing at the people around the fire *

Two people, a man and a woman holding hands, look up at your approach and wander off. This leaves a group of three men standing in the gloom of dying firelight.

One of them, a barefoot man with the sleeves torn off his shirt to reveal several groupings of arcane looking runes tattooed down their lengths, stands with his back to the fire making it hard to see his face from here.

The second, standing close to him facing the third but not in between them both. Stands at ease, watching the conversation. He seems more alert than he lets on, because at the same time the couple notices you and begins to leave he looks up and you notice him watching you.

*Mialee watches the couple wander off for a second before looking back at the three men. Gives a curious look over the tattoos as she realize she being watch and her eyes shift to look at him. She gives a polite nod*

He gives you a brilliant smile before focusing back on the conversation at hand.

The bigger man speaks once more.
"Come now Garrett, we all know you know which man of yours took my knife. I want it returned"

He glances at his companion, flicks his eyes toward you, then faces Garrett once more.
"We will return tomorrow. You have until then."
They move to leave, starting in your direction. Them coming closer and turning allows you to get a better look at him. You double take as you realize that what you thought were tattoos are actually spells that have been carved into his body.
The second man follows nonchalantly, taking his time with a smile, but oddly maintaining eye contact.

*as she realizes they are spells carved on to his body she tries to see if she reconizes any of them from the quick glances. gives a polite smile as they leave. She glances over to the man left there before bring her gaze back to the fire*hmmm interesting. *seems to be talking to herself*

The third man walks away from the fire, furious and muttering to himself. He goes inside one of the tents closest to the central fire as the other men head up the road towards the watchmen at the gates

*she watches the other men leave then looks around to see if any  others are out and about. though shudders abit at the though of spells carved into the body as she thinks about those spells.Looking at the direction the two went heading to the city, she curiously follows trying to stay out of sight  but curious to see how they get in the city with it being locked down. she calls on her pixie shimmerdawn and has her cast invisibility on herself then dismisses the pixie  before following the two men*

The men get a five minute head start, as a result they have reached the gates before you do.

The bigger man has hung back, and is now wearing a hooded brown robe and stands just far out of the light to be unobtrusive without being suspicious.
His friend is talking to the guards, you see. He reaches out to put a hand on each shoulder, laughing at a joke he just made. They laugh with him, one reaches to lower the bridge and open the gate while the other moves to the wall and stands facing it.

He gestures for the other man to come along, then glances back to look directly at you with a grin. They both walk through the front gates as the second guard also turns to face the wall.

*Mialee watches the reaction with the guards and is even more curious about that man.When she notices the man look directly at her she is surprise.watching them enter the city.
with a strong feeling of wanting to run she and still watching the guards she carefully moves towards the entrence of the city carefully trying to keep her distance as she seems to be aware that she can't hide from him. She takes a deep breath and enters the citadel and prays this is not a mistake*

Aria walks out of the portal and sighs, something was stole from the pyramid?.. Maybe I could ask the priests there or something, anything to find out and help others right now, she needed something to do, this seemed good enough, who knows, with all the random lore I know maybe i've actually heard of it?! With that she headed to the entrance of the city, hoping she'd be able to get in.

*From on top of the Gate, Valerion stares down at Aria, grinning bright and waving his hand before disappearing in a flash of light again*

She looks at him and frowns, Is he EVERWHERE I go?... no matter. She walked over to the guards by teh gate and asked for entry, hoping to get in.

At the gate, Aria encounters the guards.... and notices something off.

The guards stationed there are standing facing the wall, giggling every do often at something unseen, a dazed look in their eyes.

The gate is wide open though.

She raises a brow and walks in, heading straight to the temple entrance, and wasting no time in walking down the steps and running to the pyramid.
