Rogue set ropes

How about give ropes & such set up by rogues a lesser DC to climb / swing ?
Just to promote mixed parties & all .

I think this is an excellent idea! Anyone got more ideas on ropes? Rope use? Rogues and climbing? Chime in here please!

More ideas are needed for ropes and such! NOTE : Our ROGUES can mess with a set rope so it FAILS on next climb use!

Yes....I...or rather val, did expirience that a few days ago. *Sideglances to a certain rouge and looks for the right wand to blast him*

Well I think ropes should be able to be combined with certain things, maybe steel/iron hooks, depending on what they are combined with increasing the chance of success, mithral being light being able to be thrown further and higher, steel just generally more likely to get a grip, adamantimum perhaps able to pierce into the surface where it needs to hold so easier to throw somewhere?

Also, I recommend a small warning in the dialogue window that say if you are likely or unlikely to be able to climb up that rope based on a skill like appraise, or a stat like wisdom/intelligence.

Ropes to be able to bind people, that need to make checks on different skills or stats to free themselves?

Maybe be able to make ropes from wild materials that can rip during climbing, like cloth, or maybe the leftovers of dead assassin vines?
