Server Reset

Agreed, server hasnt been reset in a very long time and things are beginning to show..Cleanup scripts wont fire, sound is off... server is generally getting buggy. would it be possible to have the server "auto-reset" every few days? that would likely be a good idea long run.

Server is in need of Reset again, bugs like "No spell in spellbook, no memorization because of it although still able to cast them after renewing spells through research desk", random doors locking, and other things happen again.

Also someone closed the damn DMFI door to the gathering room and locked it with a DC of 72! Whoever was that should remember that there are NEWBIES that may have logged out in that area! Frustrating them is a bad way to promote the server!

Server could do with a reset, College is messed up and a few factions are going nuts

While I hestitate to ask this during the event (maybe it can wait till after), a lot of strange stuff is happening around the server: Factions are going crazy- guards are killing townsfolk, patrons of inns are killing the innkeepers... Mid Egbort is spawning crazy amounts of monsters.

The Fairground event will end today, If you could postpone a reset till afterwards please ODA? It wont take long to wrap up *fingers crossed*

I think I figured out what caused them (or maybe correlated). They seemed to have calmed down after, but in Mid Egbort there appeared to have been a scry gone wrong (The visual copy didn't disappear), and kept the area 'active', so monsters kept spawning. After the copy disappeared, the spawns were still a little higher than usual, but when all killed off, went back to normal levels. Or so it seems, the times I've been back.

Server is in dire need of reset, wild magic is popping up everywhere, cannot use spells without using Vartempla ANYWHERE, Monetary amount suddenly went from several million gold to the same amount but as a MINUS, Special abilities do not work properly, *Anti Divination Amulet no longer functioning* and such.

Thank you for the alert on this. Server has been reset (was running since April 11 lol).

I believe it is time for another.  Remains and dead critters in port chonda have not vanished. They have been there a few days...

The server was running non stop for 16 days, no lag, no crash. Restarted just now, server is good to go.

The server was down last night (I was offline, sofa-bound with my bad-back) so I apologize I did not get your messages to restart the server until this morning.

We recently upgraded RAM from one to four gigs, and it MAY be bad ram that is causing the crashes, but due to other clues we find, Erin thinks it may be database related. We are testing these things this week and will have a more stable server again for you very soon.

If the server goes down, PM me and I will try to be available.
