Too much xp bug?

After Sywyn finally died in combat thereby escaping from Agaalaiin??/Aggallaaaiinnn?? - Aarrrggghhh, its part of the Feylands however its spelled, I was having a chat with Vinsalur earlier today place and he mentioned that the xp I was getting seemed unusually high and might indicate the presence of a bug (5 x XP bug?) I had assumed that the xp awards were ok because they were not totally disproportionate to the xp I had been getting for facing level based npcs in another location which cannot be mentioned and did seem to be following the core PnP type xp progression for same level encounters increasing in reward at higher levels but on reflection, although the risks were high, the xp was quite generous, although I have nothing to compare it with on the server. The most telling point is that it apparently took Vinsalur about 2 years to level Valerion to 40th level whereas Sywyn is about 34th level after maybe 3 months of very concentrated play. I report this issue here at here at the first opportunity and would be grateful the next time I am on line and check out whether my xp is bugged, or indeed whether there is a larger problem on the server or certain parts of it and I certainly do not want an unfair xp boost. It would be much easier for me to discuss the issue over skype rather than by typed messages so if possible I'd be grateful if a DM who has Skype capability makes the call, but if this is not possible ... c'est la vie.

Yes it could possibly be a build issue. To help Eri post exactly what your character's build and race is. I had a problem with my winged elf and the great Eri solved it.

Some extreme xp has been seen in lycans too.

Yes, we are still working on the xp system and refining as we go - there are still a few flukes in the mix. Please keep us posted if your PC raises more than about 20 lv in six months - we are trying to get this thing right, but we need your help.

Sywyn is a Sun elf Wizard/Rogue but I also play a Dwarf Monk/Druid/Shifter named Mossy Cavern whom is 21st level after about 3 months - I've never found class based means of gathering xp with him (unlike Sywyn who has made lots of his xp from selling .... umm .... lets call them 'misappropriated' items and from reading books/examining bookshelves) nor is Mossy able to deal out the damage and take on the level based spawns the way Sywyn can.
