Werewolf fangs worn?

Last night was the full moon, and I ended up in combat with another player (despite paying her to get far from the area) but much to my surprise, I was unable to infect her due to this message "Your fangs are worn, and you are unable to pass the infection" or something similar.

Can this be fixed? Preferably before the next moon?

iirc this is an effect of not being in the good favor of the Lyco god. You get a bit long in the tooth and such over time - only those in favor of the lyco god are able to pass on the "god's blessing" (lycanthropy). I'll defer to eriniel's post on this though, as my memory may be shoddy here.

Ah, that explains it then, good enough for regen, but not enough for passing the gift...

I've been waiting on my Statuette for a while, I never seem to remember when a DM is on. Too bad there isnt an altar in game yet

flag me down when I'm on as DM - there is an altar, but access to it is not connected at this time (I'm still building 'the gauntlet' - an 'intruder deterrent' through which all who would approach it must pass - it is almost done though, so it won't be long now before you can access the temple in its very remote location).
