Lycon regen question Empty Lycon regen question

I was play-fighting with Nashi earlier today. Telyn vs Nashi. So I wanted to just get this straight and ask if this is intended as a feature of the lycon-regen.

Anyway. I casted mass heal on Nashi. She went down to 1-4 hitpoints. When I hit her she got full health from that. Is it supposed to work like that? That getting hurt heals you from other damage you have taken? Wouldn't that make it so that vampires can circumvent pretty much all their banes as long as they pinch themselves after being struck by it? Like, the vampire runs from the sun, desperately seeeking shelter - then suddenly a brick falls on the vampires head and she thanks the gods that she got bruised so she could full-heal from it.

To me, it sounds a little unintended. The positive damage should, in my oppinion, be stored and "protected" from the lycon regen unless triggered by a negative damage spell/potion or the vampiric bite vampires use.

I'm sure Nashi would agree had she not been so iffy at me for calling it a glitch when she had murdered Te'lyn. xD

I hope that's a bug. When you rest to recover HP you only heal a little and get damaged down if you're not fully recovered. If I smash a vampire with a holy avenger until it can't move, and before the final blow someone hits it with an unenchanted sling bullet, and that vampire is fully recovered from that, I'd going to be a little frustrated. Even worse, the player could have the the vampire bang his head off the wall for damage to heal himself RPly. (Unless that wall does positive energy damage, not sure how that would work, but that's not the point)

This would be the Vampire's Death Sequence, you killed her, but since the death for vampires is SO zood up right now I commented it out completely. Its a known bug that went by the wayside a little too long, will rig suitable temporary replacement now we have a few undead...

You killed her, dead, the system revived her to start the Gas form roam back to coffin bit, and then exited because that is the Zoo'ed up bit.

So yep BIG bug, though probably not the one it looked like.

Works by PHB rules, resting dose not magically heal massive wounds, small wounds yes, huge near death types.... well strictly speaking they should bleed out in their sleep....

I dunno. When the death kicks in your char normally falls over before rising. I had that as vampire-Zaiah. It looked like regular vamp regen kicked in and not the death thing. Also I'm pretty sure Nashi didn't lose her barkskin - death is supposed to dispel all effects. But I can't be sure. I suppose we could just test it again? Just lemme know sometimes ingame and we can do a replay of that thing.

I agree with eve, I think this is more of a regen issue than a death system issue.
Vampires and Lycanthro, pes are restored most of the damage they got last round, so since you didn't kill her and then struck her again, that damage was restored. (The trick is to smack them around, disapear for a minute, then repeat)
I've noticed I can survive indefinately in the sun as long as I'm in combat, since I would regen the sun damage whenever a grig attacked me.
Is there some way to make it so Positive and Fire don't regen? Maybe acid too. I know Divine damage stores up, lowering your HP until Negative damage counteracts it, perhaps Positive could go under the same umbrella? Fire nd Acid being harder to regenerate from, but not impossible, so they would just require drinking. (Or some other form of vampiric healing)

Also, check out the runestone option Meditate. Its handy.
