Personality - Cold, and fairly sadistic, he enjoys seeing others suffer, though he doesn't go out of his way to. He tends to be easily interested in arcane matters, though his interest can be fleeting in regards to other things.

Background - Teb'fryn had formerly been the Wizard of their House, through the scheming of his Brother, up until the time it was all but annihilated by a rival. He and his brother, Drinin, somehow managed to flee from the destruction. Their escape brought them to the 'surface', the light almost blinding them both in the beginning, but they had little choice but to proceed. From that point on, they parted ways, occasionally meeting up at times when it seemed necessary. Teb'fryn was consumed by hatred, so much so that he even found himself cursing his own existence at times, along with the rival house that had chased them from their home.

 His plans for the future ruined, he had only his hatred for them to keep him going. That anger fueled him, and he began to direct it toward not only the ones that had wronged him, but also to all of his kind. He became convinced the only path to take was to find a method of destroying them all, or at least stop what ever plans they had, if only out of pure spite. For this he sought power, arcane power considered forbidden to those of the Surface world. The arts of Necromancy were always his favorite study, the mysteries of life and death fascinated him to no end, and because of this that was the path he chose to take.

The next few years on the surface were agonizingly slow for him, adjusting to the ways of the surface dwellers seemed near-impossible for one of his kind, but somehow he managed to 'fit in' to at least some extent. He kept at his research, keeping it away from the eyes of the 'righteous' and others who would stand in his way. His persistence was eventually rewarded when he found information regarding a Necromantic ritual, not one of Undeath, but somewhere between there and life. From there he began to gather what he needed to perform the ritual, even going so far as to kill a villager for spare ingredients.

 For him, the ritual seemed surprisingly simple, as did obtaining what he needed. He proceeded with it one night, within a forest far from the gaze of civilization. Upon performing the ritual, he was engulfed in a dark energy, and lost consciousness for the night. Upon waking up, he felt different physically, as well as mentally. He discovered his body had taken on various traits similar to those possessed by the Undead, and yet through short experimentation discovered he was still 'alive' to some extent. Teb'fryn was ecstatic! Never could he have imagined things would turn out so well...however, this was only the first step, one of many.
