Animal Domain Spells for Deeproot

I read that gods dont like it when clerics cast a spell outside their gods domains. Im under the assumption that Deeproot has the Animal Domain, if so, i get cursed for casting Cats Grace everytime. i can cast other spells of the same level but this one (Animal Domain bonus spell) i cant do. not sure if this is intended or not, but i would think casting a spell from your gods domain would be easier not harder.
