I am really upset right now because over an over i go into a area that ends up being wild magic, some random NPC casts a spell and poof! my pc is suddenly and irreversibly a ghost or zombie or rock with no possibility of ever getting him 100% ever again. i have tried asking dm's for help in the past but in the end the only way any of us could fix it was by using an exploit in the scripts because even the dm tools cant fix it all the way.

Now even after i got him to turn back by following 15 miniuts worth of ooc advice and tinkering he walks with one leg dragging even though he is at 100% health. nothing i do fixes this nor will any restoration scripts used so far. wild magic is a good idea but its put in place badly fixing it needs to be top priority as i am not the only person that this seems to be happening to. Noone should ever have to lose or remake there pc because of this, it ruins rp and takes large spans of time by both players and dm's just to attempt fixing that both would rather use playing the game.

Finally fixed...

Point still is valid though... (although i was under a bit of destress at the time lol) perhaps the polymorph stuff should be adjusted.

I agree. Perhaps not permanent, but temporary.

Yes this as well as if you are a cleric, your temple priest/priestess should recognize you and change you back.

That is actually a good idea, Animayhem. Though, of course this should only apply if one is faithful. (Not sure if the system(s) track how much time is spent praying, sacraficing, or whatever it is clerics do to get their power nowadays).

Systems track your religious actions and your favor with your deity is managed in that light. Yes, we track everything.

Be well. Game on.

However, if you are morphed from touching a mushroom, currently the priest/priestess does not recognize as a member but when she visits the temple, she is greeted as a sister of faith. Charia's favor was at the max. Maybe she wasn't recognized as the Temple to Rhenallthan is not complete.
