A business arrangement
Malah would walk through the port, flaming lash in hand as she eye's the beggars with disgust. As she reached the appointed spot she would stop and look around, "He's late. And he's the one who set this up." With a sigh she'd lean against the building, crossing her arms as she waits for her contact to arrive.

The Recruit
The woman wasnt soft spoken at all. From the moment she walked into the Enchanting Lab, he could tell she was a woman of action. Her stride was purposeful, her gaze intent, and not a trace of doubt in her demeanor. He had been speaking with another about the properties of various enhancement components when the dark haired armored woman interrupted thier conversation seeking a skilled enchanter. He had to bless the thought of his friend Charia everytime a new face sought him out over his skill at the table.
Able to supply the sought ware, however the woman had no way of paying for it. Luck was in his favor he thought. How fortunate. After asking a few questions, he brought up a buisness proposition. Piqueing her interest he explained, loosely, the opprotunity the guild he belonged to presented. Seemingly interested, she agreed to a later meeting. Hopefully he had tempted her enough to come with genuine interest? The Shadowed Man has been restless of late over the current status of the Guild, and as always, he had a eerie feeling hes not one to disappoint. Besides that, the Shadowed Man has funded his endeavors thus far. To lose the contributions would be detrimental to his current goals. He has old aquaintences to find.
Optimistic to the coming interview, he turns back to the table, trying to pull his thoughts from the armored woman and back to his current enhancement project, imbueing more elements into a sharp blade that has reached the eighth tier of power.

Two Ways of Opprotunity
He had been atop of the building for only an hour or so before he watched the magic carpet come over the ports wall to land at the depot. Bearing his recruit he watched her stride through the busy street towards the Donnel Tradehaus. He had wanted to observe her more as she was among the general public, but like thier meeting in the college, she didnt waste time.
He watched her push through a crowd that had crossed before her as she made her way. She didnt miss a step as she shouldered an unsuspecting fellow who wasnt watching where he was walking in favor of laughing with his fellows. It nearly brought him from his feet as he spun almost clear around. The fellow rounded back on her shouting a curse at her back, which was cut short and seemed snatched out of the air as she merely shot a glare over her shoulder. As he watched he doubted the fellow could see the scowl on the womans face as she turned back to her destination, and he hoped for his sake he wouldnt say anything more.
Leaning against the supporting wall of the upper structure he continued to watch as she wove through the crowds. It seemed others had noticed the exchange between she and the last group, as they seemed to make way for her or give her a clear birdth as she passed. He didnt know if she was emitting an energy or the look either the expression of seriousness she wore made them move, neither would surprise him. He had an inward chuckle at the fact that the beggars even took thier leave without word with just a simple look from the woman. This may be prosperous indeed.
He slings a leg over the wall of the upper structure and slides down after swing over with the rest of his body, a foot planted against the opposite wall, " I'm never la'e.", he says landing softly just six feet from where she leaned against the wall.
" I am where i nee' t'be, whe' i nee' t'be. I have t'say, I am surprise', I didn' t'ink you woul' show.", He continues as he takes up a spot on the wall next to her watching the people of the busy port go on with thier daily routines.
Without looking over he says in a quiet tone, " Before we con'inue, a'swer trut'fully,...", he pauses a moment then looks over, " Wha' truely brough' y'here? "
Hed watch her as she considers.

Re: A business arrangement
This man was strange. What was he doing, climbing down buildings like a monkey. But, if this was the man she owe'd a debt to then so be it. And never late was he? She'd have to test that to the extreme's one day, but for now she'd buy it. It wasn't as if she was suprised. From the amount of money she owe'd him, it'd be a bigger suprise if he was even an ounce late. And the fact that nothing really suprised her anymore. Upset, angered, and riled her up, yes. But never suprised.
"Ah, When I owe a debt i always follow it through. It ensures that people are willing to deal with me in the future." She would nod to his question, watching him as he leans against the building as well. Ah, so the casual approach. He was trying to get her to like him, well. It might or might not work, but such simply ploys wouldn't cut it. He'd have to show actual strength and cunning.
She would nod as he asks his question, "I came because i owe'd a debt. As i said, debts dont go unpaid. But, even if there wasn't the debt I would have shown." She would pause at that and look out at the crowd, making sure no one was coming to close. As a beggar looked there way, she would finger her lash until he continued on. Even if this wasn't a meeting that needed to be kept silent, she always took such precautions. Once she was satisfied no one was standing around to eavesdrop she would turn back to the man, "It sounds interesting. Mine and my lieges goals could well be met by me joining your order, and so I have come."
After that she would turn fully to him, holding out her hand, "But before we go on, I must know the name of the man I'm dealing with. I am Malah, The Black Fist."

Introductions are in order, Mettles to be tested
Pushing his weight from the wall and looking down at her extended hand a moment before clasping her arm firmly. Watching her expression as he does, hed incline his head a bit, but not enough to break eye contact," Th' 'ames 'sully, scou' of th' Rou'e Seekers", giving the slightest of shakes of his head, " N'one imporan'. "
"Well me', if you woul' like t'speak furt'er, s'ep in'o the office?", he says holding the other arm out to the corner near where they were leaning, "Th' 'oor is righ' aroun' there.", he finishes as he studies her expression.
