Polymorph and Alternate Forms Thread
This thread is for discussing polymorphs (Druids, shifters, spells, Alt. forms...); Their abilities, appearance, powers- Anything that you feel is missing or is broken.
I'll start this off with some of the shapes I have with my current shifter.
Greater Wild Shape 1
Everything seems fine here- although would it be possible that the White Wyrmling shape doesn't suffer from cold? It's current cold immunity prevents damage, but the form still 'suffers from the cold'.
I've mentioned this in other threads, but I'm curious to know what people think of the NwN wyrmling models- as they appear the same aside from colour. there is CEP content that has more realistic models, but they have the 'super speed' animation fault, where it looks like they're moving their little legs super fast in order to move at default speed. I don't mind the NwN default forms, but I'm wondering if shifters should RP the forms being different sizes or act as if they're the same.
Greater Wild Shape 2
The Gargoyle and minotaur are missing the Runestone spell, and the gargoyle lacks the ability to fly through the 'Flies' emote.
Greater Wild Shape 3
The basilisk should probably speak Animal, much like Wildshape animal forms. Is also lacking the runestone spell. Drider is lacking Runetsone abilities. And should the manticore be changed to match the manticore models used on the server? (A more humanoid head, rather than the lion like one?)

Re: Polymorph and Alternate Forms Thread
What do you mean by runestone spell? As in it can't use the item? I don't think there's anything that can be done, but I'm not entirely sure. As for everything else, I agree.

Re: Polymorph and Alternate Forms Thread
Ah the runestone spell is an ability given to other forms that mimics the runestone item. Most forms have it, aside from the ones mentioned. it's under spells (eg in wolf shape) and allows for jumping/ drinking/ other while polymorphed.

That's interesting! I never knew that the forms got that. It should be added!

Re: Polymorph and Alternate Forms Thread
got new forms!
Okay:
Humanoid Shape
Drow: Has no runestone spell, counts as elven not drow (not sure if possible to apply sub-race template to polymorphs) and as such speaks elven. Gets cold damage- should armour count?
Lizard folk: Has no runestone spell
Kobold: No runestone spell.
On that note, with forms getting languages- Animal makes sense, but draconic, elven... the more complex languages one should learn- how are shifters expected to RP getting knowledge of these languages when shifted only?
Also, with forms and cold damage and speed:
Manticores- should their fur keep them warm? (and how fast are they meant to move with lion body? also, could they get the 'flies' emote?)
Minotaur- fur keep them warm?
Basilisk: eight legs- should be faster, or kept at normal speed?
