Gnoll tribe

um so Animayhem suggested that grimtooth goes and meet's either his or a different gnoll tribe and i actually like the idea so!... really o'm asking if any DM would like to do it?.. and if you DO need details .. fell free to ask.... *mumbles* .. damn hope this request came out ok...

Well gnoll lair .. yeah.. um.what would be required. gnolls ( ) .. well that's all i think... um anyone else any ideas... i like the whole idea but i've drawn a blank..

Also what type of gnolls? A general tribe with warriors, shaman chief? What do you think his father would be like or his mother?

There's a great object ODA hands out now and then, the Book of Self. It allows you to write all that down and have it available to the DM's for use on the fly, great item, I love using it

um saadow, its normally geared to standard races, gnolls are not really on that list, so the options in there at some points are a bit off to that kind of thing, at least that what i remember, as i have not used ti recently because the system still does not give it out on character creation and a great deal of my created characters do not have it

Many of you have seen the Immersion Tools (IT), or at least the PLAYER half of them known as the "Tome of Self" - and as you know, these are meant to work well with the 'standard races'. Our server supports many subraces and monster races too. Rather than derail this thread, I've opened a new one for the discussion of these points regarding the Immersion Tools and non-standard races.

ok the gnoll's well the tribe in my eyes would be about 20-or so.. small group and magic related is well maybe magic items that they have "found" but nothing else.. . but maybe only 1 or 2 shamans?.. and now his parents?..
well his mother ... i want to eitehr be exiled fro, the tribe or dead( because to give grimtooth a better life she abandoned him and then he was raise by a human ranger.. who..he[grim] had to leave because, grim was blamed for being a monster when actually it was a werewolf or something like that..) and his father.. well either tribe chief.. or maybe.. um.. ~blank~

Ok on grims father he hates grim because he thinks he's "soft" from being with humans.. he a battle scarred warrior.. almost legendary among gnoll tribes infact and he's not too keen on letting grim live(room for change)!.

I would like to just add an opinion here.

I see this as a great opportunity to expand the server (so to speak). since the river is sort of the boundary between civilization and the untamed wilds, why not have a village of gnolls dedicated to people why want to play one? If we set the tribe to an independent faction it could be made to attack non-gnoll players who trespass without some sort of token. but at the same time supply a base of operations for gnoll players.

Good idea.

I agree, most sentient races would have a grouping of some sort, even more nomadic ones like Gnolls.

yeah i like that Idea,.. but right now i think i'm the only one who plays a gnoll?
But really now want wants to take up my idea?..
