Mage to the rescue

This is not a rumor, but an actual story witnessed by the patrons and hosts of the Tivook Crossing Inn, a mage, dressed in red, black and gold, pale as ash and with grey light covered eyes, came in carrying a dogs corpse and having a small crying boy at his side.

The mage called out for the nearest priest and found a priest of travel, requesting he would help the dog and return it's vigor and vitality to it.
After doing so, the man handed the priest one thousand and one hundred platinum for the service and thanked him severly.

Afterwards the mage was hugged by the boy who was rejoycing at the revival of his dogs spirits and he patted the boys head, smiling and some travellers saw the mage bringing the boy home and vanishing afterwards.

After a few debates it was affirmed by Etrianna that this was Valerion Turingskar the Archmage of Vestalla, it seems sometimes even the nobles and those of the higher levels of society still find time for the troubles of the small folk and show no shyness in doing so.

The priest was found extremely drunk and a bit beaten up in a dark corner of the tavern at night, it seems too much money is harmful to some.
