Detect Magic Empty Detect Magic

It seems that Detect Magic, shows every item that has the "crafting" option on itself as magical, including a pad of wool cloth, damnit, I was about to find out a spell based on what things are magical and which now and now THIS.

Is that supposed to be so or just a variable that considers all craftable things as magical?
