Grace glances at Aria and then back at the two mages.

"I'm sure you can handle yourself."

With that, the vines let the gem fall back onto the floor near the pyramid and retreat from it.

Both of them cross over the gemstone at the same time, and nothing happens. The pair even goes back to stand over it for a few seconds, and it does nothing save sit there and make the humming noise and produce light.

"Well...just as expected, the removal of the powernode deactivated the portal, and unless someone opens the portal again, with knowledge what is to aim for....it will remain deactivated, well then, and without the powernode, no more portal, at least not to that said portal...oh and before I forget is...TESS!" *He throws one hand outward towards the pyramid, a magical chain seeming to shoot out of his sleeve, into the opening with the cylinder, connecting to it, wrapping around and pulling it out of the opening right into Valerions waiting hand*

"Anyone up for some artifact destruction?"

The Pyramid is far older than the powernode in my hand here, this pyramid dates back into the Legardian empire, and I will not have this entire thing destroyed, for several reasons including the one of historical and architectural value.

What is the cause of the portals...is this nice little gem, and as I asked, who wants to destroy it? Or for the more intelligent among us, who wants to investigate it to see if it can be used to revert similar things as it causes?"

The light spell extinguishes, but the area is still lit brightly by the purple crtstal like gemstone.

Drurazhor looks at the wizard and the crystal for a few moments, then he turns to the hallway, and starts moving away, at a slow, but steady pace.
