Yes there is something like that in place but I am not sure if it is functioning properly. I think you can directly poison food and drink and also if food is touched by a poisoned blade

Friends,
Yes, we can poison food and drink here, and there are even spells to repair that. Add poison while cooking.

Re: Poisen - Food & Drink
I think it's an exclusive feat for the assassin prestige class isn't it?

Re: Poisen - Food & Drink
Friend Hacatsu,
Think about all the stories where the protagonists purchases some nasty something to put in their nemesis' food. Technically, as in real life, anyone can mix chemicals into a meal to poison a victim. IIRC we made Assassin class have a better chance of concealing the toxins (I'll have to double check that).
Are there any other ideas on this sort of thing and how Assassins can be made a bit better as Assassins?
IIRC concocting poisons was the special skill of D&D assassins, along with some alchemists and herbalists (who may have had some levels as Assassin).

Yes, technically anyone can poison a food, but assassins have a more extensive knowledge on them, being able to use that knowledge better to their advantage. That said, maybe assassins should be able to detect poison on things?

I have not used it yet and can test with Charia as she has learned how to detect poisons and such in food
