Assassins Strike! Empty Assassins Strike!

Mysterious plotters lurking in the Tivook inn struck an unsuspecting PC dead suddenly as the PC exited the inn. The group of plotters fled south, but gathering dusk and hunting troglodytes slowed pursuers. Among the party of pursuers a member o the city guard was warned by the High Priest of Deeproot that he had sensed the movement of these travelers on the road and that they bore what he called 'blood-magic', the mark of assassins. It was determined that the assassins escaped into the city!
