Ok, let's just say that the whole system there needs an overhaul.

We need options to avoid arrest, bribery, persuasion, intimidation, saving throws against the teleportation/Spell resistance against it.

Also when in Jail, since it apparently is !""§$"!$!"§$ indestructable, we need such options inside to get out, considering things like, a basic guard placing an Archmage in a cell with "indestructable" adamantinum bars is pretty f!"§$%& unlikely.

So Bribery, skill use, stat use, spells, contacts, fixed time of incarceration, ability to if necessary steal the key from a guard or just blowing the whole thing into high heavens to get out.

NEW USE FOR FILE ITEM - use on portcullis/grate should cause a CON check, success should increment the SIZE of the creature that can SQUEEZE-THRU... PCs can repeat until able to escape... This all should have a sound effect and chance to summon attention!

It does seem a bit strange that a file can be used to break out, when super strength, magic and other skills can't damage the bars.

Having an NPC there to say what crimes you commited and where, and the cost of bail and so. Putting a PC in a place they can't escape isn't fun. And while crime should have consequences, we shouldn't sacrifice fun for RP. This has all been discussed before.
