Soul Stones and Vitality Packs

I'm out of Soul Stones, getting killed by Assassin Vines. I used the last one in Open Inventory Resurrecting.
When I haven't played for awhile, then log on and start in the 'Welcome' room, I'm given a number of Soul Stones. I also have a Vitality Pack with, now, 22 loads of Soul Stones within (Thanks for the tool - it gets rather cumbersome carrying around over 100 Soul Stones in Open Inventory).

The question is: How do I get the Soul Stones OUT of the Vitality Pack and back into Open Inventory so they can be used?

Right-clicking on the tool only has the option (touch) of putting Soul Stones INTO the Vitality Pack, but no option to take them out again.

The life tokens (SOULRUNES) were meant to be trade-friendly, but very valuable. Hence we made items to represent them, especially as in normal use their number should be few on any given PC.

This being 'beta test' we opted to give each PC a full set of SOULRUNESon each server reset (to embolden the PLAYERS and remove any penalty they might fear regarding being aggressive about finding bugs. In normal use, each PC gets ONE SET of SOULRUNESin their entire life.

To help manage inventory for those PCs with many soulrunes, we added the VITALITY PACK. If you target a SOULRUNE with the WAND OF MISC, it will convert a 'group' of the SOULRUNES into a single ELIXIR OF VITALITY, these are stackable potions.

To help manage the inventory of those PCs with many ELIXIR OF VITALITY we added the VITALITY PACK which can absorb any number of these elixirs, just use the VITALITY PACK on the chosen elixir and it is absorbed into the VITALITY PACK.

To retrieve elixirs from the VITALITY PACK, use the VITALITY PACK.

To retrieve SOULRUNES from the ELIXIR OF VITALITY, use the ELIXIR OF VITALITY.

Well, yes and no.
Trying to 'use' the VITALITY PACK is exactly what I was trying to do. The problem was, I didn't know what to use it on. When I tried to 'use' it, I got the usual Radial Menu with 'Drop', 'Use: Touch', and 'Examine'. I tried 'touching' the VITALITY PACK - Nothing. I tried 'touching' the 'Clover Leaf' tool - Nothing. I didn't want to 'Drop' the item, so I did what we always do in the German Army - READ THE BOOK OF INSTRUCTIONS ('Examine'). It said: 'Touch your PC'. VOILA! ELIXIR OF VITALITY magically appeared. 'Drink' the ELIXIR OF VITALITY, and twelve SOULRUNES appeared.

Moral of the Story: READ THE BOOK OF INSTRUCTIONS!
