Server crash?

The server just went down, did it crash?
if so, will it be up again soon?

Sat/Sunday don't seem good times for this to happen ... especially right after Oda goes to bed for the evening

Yes, it appears we did have a crash on the EE server. My apologies I was having a bad day and unable to get off the sofa. I'm upright now, barely - I'll see if I can get the server running again.

My bad - the hour is not good for me to be restarting the server - it is the 'hour of the backup process' - in about two hours when I am certain it is all done doing what needs doing, I'll get in there and restart the server... I'm sure I'll be up for some hours yet so no worries there.

While, I think we all enjoy the server, and want to be able to play ...

I know I for one, and can safely assume about others, we know things are gonna happen. Real life has to happen too.

No ones fault , we're fine ... just gave me time to add more tales , and diddle with catching up on things around the house.

I've passed off to Eriniel on this - I think the server needs some forensics on the nature of the crash. ATM I'm not up to the task (my back went out yesterday and I'm just barely mincing along for now). I'll likely hear back from Eriniel in the next few hours and we'll get things back to rights soon after.
