HTF bugged - 10:57pm Central
HTF stopped allow us to eat and use water, culps worked for fatigue though.
relogged, shut NWN down ... came back, still a no go.
Hel, Mia, Bav, and Rannie all same issues.

Re: HTF bugged - 10:57pm Central
Friends,
A player said the HTF was running way to fast last night and I was sleepy so at their request I turned off the HTF. That might have prevented eat/drink but it should have prevented your needing such things. I turned the system back on this morning. Let me now if the issue clears up.

Still somewhat fast
I was curious what each unit the bars was linked to length of In-Game time i.e hunger is one less every 1 hour, 2 hours??
Thirst 1 changes for every 20, 30 minutes?? It seems needed to eat 4 times last night approx once each Real Life hour.

Friend Aldior,
Very good questions. KUDOS.
OK, it is complicated, I'll share an overview.
The RATE at which you hunger, thirst and fatigue is related to :
1) ambient temperature - in hotter places the rate is accelerated.
2) encumbrance - which is dependent on PC STR and the load they choose to carry, the more encumbered your PC, the faster the rate of HTF.
3) gear worn - a PC wearing heavy winter gear in a tropical forest will suffer accelerated rates of HTF, so try to wear climate suited garb and gear.
Next question is 'how much does one tick on the meter represent?' And this is a harder question to answer. The amount of HTF your PC has as a base is dependent on the PC's CON and SIZE. TINY creatures will find they have to eat/drink/rest often in part because their own reserve is less than a larger creature. Commensurately, the TINY PC should find that a few nibbles of food or a single drink _should_ top them off pretty much.
The above describes how the system is supposed to work. We are currently reviewing the system, collecting data, here on the NWN:EE server to be sure it is operating correctly - so please alert me to any potential anomalies you may find.
Now, 8 RL minutes is an hour in game, so an hour RL is about 8 hours in the game... eating once in 8 hours seems reasonable, no?
THANKS FOR ASKING!
