DAMN LOG BOOKS

Add a script that checks for your invintory on login, and DOES NOT GIVE YOU NEW LOG BOOKS if you already have one.

It gives a new one on the off chance you need one, they can be hard to find if you don't know where to find them.
On Log Books:
Use them! Log Books can be cashed in for RP rewards and could be saved to become Old Journals after BETA.

Why not just leave a log book dispenser instead?

I think the log book needs another special item power then: Convert to Kindling

When you log on after a reset and do not want your new log book, there is a trashcan conveniantly nearby. But... since maybe some player may need a few, maybe there should be a container that keeps disguarded log books.

Maybe there should be a container somewhere to put logbooks that has been written aswell?

I'd prefer a place on the forums where you can do story-writing for your char... Oh wait, there is one.

Texts can be copy-pasted from the forums directly into the log-book. So, like Kiirtan said, a log-book dispenser might be a good idea. That way I can grab a book if I feel like writing a story. Inventories quickly gets stuffed with items so and up until you put something into the logbook the logbook is a useless item.

Log books are a convenient place to jot down bugs too

yes yes I carry three as it is... you can find lots in the crates at the dock side , if you need one
I tend to pick ones that look cool for an elven char. ie have a nice green one and the purple and black in cool looking to

NO. The journal, unlike the in-game LOG BOOK cannot be used by your PC to 'read aloud' to others, nor can you trade journal entries with others. I often like to think of the journal as an OOC tool, and the LOG BOOK as an IC item.
