Cleric guide for PC/DM

think we might be sorely in need of a cleric guide on the forums with maybe a dm guide with how to fix or help pcs along with any problems they might have, just realized that I don't realy know any way to help anyone who wants to play a cleric besides telling them to only choose a deity the has a temple in town or that's easily findable and hope their domains are ok x.x;

know that domain changing might be something to have on the dm guide if it's possible, and how to change divine favor, and maybe how to make the temporary temple relic if the deity doesn't have a temple in game yet

Yes I just started a cleric. She cannot use her powers as she cannot pray at her temple. If she does use her powers she gets cursed....

Thanks to Melinda Charia found hertemple and got her holy symbol

You'll note, the instructions for CLERIC PCs is on the signs in the START room, as is the ALTAR it instructs the CLERIC to USE. These are not dark secrets hidden from the eyes of mortal PLAYERS, but signs MOST PLAYERS IGNORE that are put RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES on entering the server. *scratches head* The same material is elaborated on in the PLAYER GUIDE (pdf) which is a download available from our forum banner on the forum home page.

I figured this question would better be fieldedhere, instead of starting another topic. Lol, my surge of them says there's too many

Would it be easy to make align based holy water? Like holy water blessed by evil, good and neutral deities? Give the crafting property of dmg vs good, dmg vs evil and leave "divine dmg" for the neutral version?

Obviously no biggie,just a thought really.

It has been a while since this thread was visited - I'll dust it off today.

I like the idea of holy-water / unholy-water, or align based holy-water, we will review what can be done in that direction soon.

I do think the CLERIC CLASS needs some attention - we will make this the official CLERIC thread for now - any PLAYERS with CLERIC tips please post them here - ultimately the most essential lore will go in-game, but for now, discussion and sharing here is ideal.

I have seen elsewhere in addition to bless water you can also curse water. I think it is alignment and diety based.
