Downtime = character deletions?

Hello there. It's been quite some time since I've been on these forums or NWN in general, but I have been getting that RPG itch again and this is one of the few games I keep coming back to. When I knew I wanted to play NWN again, there was only one server on my mind - AG.

I haven't been on the server in over a year, and I'm wondering if there's any hope my character still exists on the server? I had to get a new copy of the game through GoG, and I'm awaiting the CD key which I'm sure won't be here until after xmas. In the meantime, I was thinking I could shake off the RP rust by making some IC posts on the board, in particular fleshing out a reason for the absence of my character from the world. I think the quest to recover my character's identity could prove very interesting. I also have a local vault copy of the character if that helps. Not sure/forget what the policy is on this here.

And, in true form, I answered my own question. I was logging in under the wrong username the whole time. Myles lives and shall return (pending the receipt of my CD key)

Also of concern: Is my bank/storage eternally persistent? I believe I had some wealth tucked away before my absence.

The bank and safe are persistent and keyed to your PC, so if the PC still exists, the wealth should be protected and available to you. Let me know if you need any assistance with the banker or safe, I think it should work for you with no problems tho.

Just an update on the bank... I still have money that I deposited, and all of it as far as I can tell. However the safe is completely devoid of items, and I'm almost positive I had a few pages worth of stuff in there. Also, the bank door is apparently locked day and night, so I've had to pick my way in.

Can I ask for some characters to be deleted as well? All but the latest version of Timothy, Leosoul? Paladin fighter build

The reason for them deleting is because I don't even remember what I was planning to do with them in all honesty. Well, the first version of Timothy I do, but I reviewed his build and found out it was better for convincing crooks from fighting than nobles to be on his side. There's a comma behind the first name of Timothy to separate them. The one with it is the one I wanna keep.

The PLAYER option to delete a PC will be added to Haggis' conversation later this week, you can all use that to delete PCs (or the same option in the fugue plane for higher level PCs).
