I will elaborate. In stating that they would close the forums, they stated the managers were distracted with other means of community dialog such as conventions facebook etc. and that they were thus shortchanging the community who went to their official forums to dialog. By closing their forums, they now make it so the community no longer HAS an official place to dialog with and among themselves.

BIOWARE / EA is basically abandoning us to 'other channels'.

Well, may I offer to Bioware / EA, "So long and thanks for all the fish."
