Argentum Regio Wikia?

I don't know about you, but I love wikias. Forums are great for discussion, but wikias make finding info a lot quicker, easier and organised. And they're free.

Would Argentum Regio be interested in starting up a Wikia? It means you could put all your lore (Dieties, races, places, creatures, hints..) in an easy to navigate location, and the work would be shared out, so the players can help out as well. Wikia's have their own problems too (Easy to vandalise/ get wrong information too) but we could try it out.

As a test, to see how making a wiki is, I did make a wikia called Argentum Regio Wikia, but there's no info on it yet and I can easily take it down should the Wiki idea be vitoed. http://argentumregio.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

I've found the Www.playnwn.com, which is an amazing source of lore and info for Argentum Regio, so if anybody hasn't heard of it, I'd recommend checking it out. It should get sticky-d somewhere, because I just stumbled upon it. (again, not sure if this has been done already and if I'm being an annoying newbie, but to put it bluntly I suck at navigating forums, so I'm a good test for these things: if I can find it, -anyone- should be able to )

however I'm getting some mixed information. previously I had only found the argentum regio page on nwn.wikia (http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Argentum_Regio)
which has different info, such as on the races, to the Playnwn.com . I'm thinking Playnwn is more up to date? if it is, should I ignore the lore on the nwn.wikia, or is some of that still applicable, providing it doesn't contradict playnwn?

Good observations. You are absolutely correct -

playnwn.com is more up to date than the wikia offering - and I something I need to bring up to speed in the near future. The admin's work is never done.

On deities again: Is Shadranzi the same as Numahl? (the Temple of Shadranzi is also in the South Donnel Temple marked as Eavee's- which I've reported using the bug reporter IG)

Good questions, Shadranzi and Numahl are separate entities and the confusion you cite is a result of some horrible copy/paste gone awry. I shall try to sort that out for the next update - should be fairly easy. Please do continue to report the bugs with the bug tool - we are wading through a backlog of these bug reports - prioritizing them in batches as we go.

I've not looked at your wikia link (somehow missed it, I must have been sleepy when I read this thread first through... will post on that soon to and will look at it now, my apologies for having missed it). I was confused on first read as I thought you were referring to something else (link to this in next post).

WOW again, I've had a look at the wikia offering, which I've not looked at in a long time (pretty much since I made the original one). The wikia layout and tools sure have changed (we used to have to write the code and copy paste it up).

I am VERY impressed with what you've done to update and adapt the original material to the new look and format. THAT is starting to look very useful. THANK YOU friend to the server.

I took some time to correct a spelling or two and put a few more paragraphs in where it looked thin. I will be back to help you with the task more in the following days too.

Okay guys- to any reading this- All the classes have been added to the Wikia- most need the custom features added, which I do not know in great detail and more importantly advice on how these classes work in Arg-Reg. Such as if there are added restrictions, how that class acts in Arg-Reg, general RP tips...

So please guys, pop on and add a note or two on any suggestions or add to anywhere where you think something is missing!
