Wizards intelligence

Hi all,
My level 14 pure class elf wizard, Elvith has 17 intelligence at the moment. With gear his intelligence is 20. He just gained enough experience to advance to level 15. The problem is that he is not being offered 8th circle spells. I expect all will be well in the long run since I plan on adding to intelligence at level 16 and 20.

My question is that if he takes another wizard level at 15 and then add to his intelligence at level 16 will he then be offered 8th circle spells? If so will he miss out on the two 8th circle spells he would have been offered at level 15 had he had 18 intelligence already?

Unless I can answer these question I might be better off going multi-class at level 15. I prefer pure class characters so I'd like to avoid multi-classing unless doing otherwise would result in a loss to my character.

Whenever he gets the 18 Intelligence he will be offered the level 8 spells.

Yes. It is the same for all classes you must have the intell,wis,charis to match the spell circles. It must unbuffed.

Thanks to you all for your replies. Elvith hasn't leveled up to 15 yet. He's still thinking about how he wants to go.
