Problens with the screenshots.

I can't manage to post some of the screenshots that I take, and I can't even see them either, the format the screenshots are being saved is .tga, can I change that? Help..?

GIMP is an excellent software for opening, editing and saving graphic files - including TGA and many other common formats. Try using that perhaps? I'm not sure but there may be a way to make it store as png. I'll research that and see what I can come up with for you (and post here later).

If in doubt, the XNViewer Program can also convert most image formats, it is what I use mostly.

I recommend irfranview.com. it is free and you can save pics in any format. In your NWN folders make one entitled screenshots.

Its real easy use your print screen key and it saves automatically. Then when you open the file it will give you an option on how to save your pic. I sometimes save them as JPG or even PNG

Gimp is a most complicated and non user friendly format.

To get rid of scroll bar hit H before you snap then H again to being it back.

All my screens were taken with the irfranview. It also has a decent quick edit feature too.

WOW irfanview does conversions too now? I've not used it in a while, if that is the case then yes use that it will be very simple. For converting GIMP is simple too, you just load the image then 'save as' - change the file extension (for example from .tga to .png) and click OK. GIMP has LOTS of other features (it does pretty much everything photoshop does) so it may be overkill. I'll have to look at irfanview again to see what it is like these days, been a long time.

XnConvert is what I use. It lets you convert the entire screenshot folder all at once, as well as view the files, set the converted folder destination, etc.

The converting takes approximately <1 second per photo, so it's far faster than using photo editing software such as GIMP and doing pictures one by one.

Does it allow continual snapping like irfranview which does not affect gameplay.

So, I download GIMP, tried the other ones, but for some reason GIMP was the only one that worked properly Now the problem is; how do I post an image in the Adventurers Photo's? I tried that 'Host an Image' but can't seem to send to image, do I need to create an account on that site or something? Or is there an other and easier way to post the screenies?

i suggest imgur, its the site i use to upload all my screenshots, its a free account and you can make albums to organize them based on what they are about ^.^

Congratulations on converting your images (I love GIMP, it is very powerful, and you can almost always find the tool you need in there for anything graphic related IF you take the time to sort out the many many options).

As far as posting the image here, start by clicking on the GALLERY link in the menu bar (TOP of page) - I'm guessing you'll find your solution there. You can post from your GALLERY to the forum IIRC.

Iuse Picasaweb by google to host my shots. You can download the free art editing software and upload to an account there.

Also it is a decent free editor download.

I tried gimp did not like it, I prefer Corel Paintshop Pro ,Adobe PhotoShop and even the simple things in irfranview.
