Just relaying what I was told ...
He said his familiar was spamming some sort of sound being near "bad water" what ever that means ...
claimed it was aggravating ...

I hadn't ever encountered anything like that, but I don't usually have my familiar out either .. so dunno.

Told him, i'd make a report though.

druid companions and maybe some mage familars can smell if a well is bad and will warn thier person about it.

Friends,

Good posts both of them. Yes, some familiars and animal companions can detect 'bad water' and will warn the PC about this as long as the PC is in the 'bad water trigger'. The dear things get a little excited about it understandably, so may seem a bit spammy.
