Do you use VOICE CHAT in game?

Friends,

My own computers are humble rigs and I keep very tight security on them (I cannot afford to replace them). Hence I do not run voice services like SKYPE or TEAMSPEAK.

I have had a request for a voice based tour of the tutorial, this came from a nice person who has dyslexia and felt that reading the text would be overly difficult (I totally understand and agree). So, I'm wondering if any among the playerbase who actually use SKYPE or TEAMSPEAK or something similar would be available to tour this nice new PLAYER through the tutorial area using voice to guide them on the way? Please reply here if you can help.

when i use to play on narfell with a group we used teamspeak to just talk to each other it kept the ooc out of the game and let us just mess around there. but i don't use teamspeak any more and tend to stick to ventrillo for my world of warcraft game which is just like teamspeak i could easily help with that if she wanted to jump on that with me i do have skype but i rarely use it

Discord ( google search easy find ) is great for chat comms , we use it in DayZ/Arma2 OA , and Arma3 as it doesn't bog down your system, even under the strain of system bogging games like Arma series.
and it's free.

I used to use XFIRE that was nice as you could chat in game without leaving the game.  I use Skype but rarely while I am in game.  Usually any ooc stuff is in tells in game. It is quicker that way.  Some may play NWN in windows mode so easier to use an outside chat client.  I prefer full screen.  

Voice chat I have used once or twice but I prefer just typing.

Im a big fan of voice chat, I use it primarily for OOC chat which means everything i say in server on a DMNPC or PC can remain purely IC. I have a Discord server set up which im always when you see me online, All welcome

I actually don't do much voice chat. The rule among my group of friends is anytime we're doing a virtual campaign involving actual roleplay, is no voicing, we keep in character with very very little OOC. In my group of friends we feel that it's hard to immerse ourselves in our character and role with the temptation of OOC, and we try to limit our ability to use it as much as possible. Any session that is not RP oriented is fair game for OOC/VOIP though.

There are many options for VoIP communication in gaming. We could use the common ones, or the popular ones, or there are some less popular ones. Up to you guys. I suggest Discord, but that's me. It can be used in browser. But has the option of the full program. Skype isn't good for gaming.

Sometimes you have to remake the channel and get a new link, but so worth it trust me.
