Spellbook recovery problem
Today I lost my spellbook due to an ooc crash and the inability to reconnect before the area resetted.
I recovered my spellbook from an empty one using a research desk.
BUT there is a bug or at least a problem, it seems you lose ALL teleportation marks if you lose your spellbook you used during the time you set those marks. Meaning you may recover your spellbook but not your teleportation marks.
No matter if you lost it due to OOC problems or IC actions.
I just lost 50 teleportation marks, about 25 of them hidden areas, excuse me while I go murder some puppies or something like that....

Hmm I never had that problem. When I had to reset once or twice I was still able to use the marks.

Re: Spellbook recovery problem
You missed the point. It wasn't the crash, it was him losing the book due to said crash

Re: Spellbook recovery problem
It's your character that holds the variables for the marks if I recall correctly.
I lost many such marks long ago as well as my whole inventory (full of rare items, ores, gems, etc) when I was in an area that got reset since I was possessing my familiar elsewhere.
Of course, the spellbook was lost too. So could be either one.

Re: Spellbook recovery problem
Guys...the problem has occured a long time ago, and most marks have been returned either by myself or by some DM's help, I still am missing a few but those partially cannot be restored until full update either way, so.
