Charia frowned at the devastation. She got off her horse and surveyed the area. She turned to the men.

" Stay alert. The mind spells have warn off and I need to rest to recast."

She manages to sit near a felled tree, she closes her eyes and meditates. After a few moments she stands and begins to cast, After she is done she stands watch as Lia communes with nature.

*After talking with some flowers Lia rolls her eyes with a chuckle,She makes her way to a flower that had been crushed in a wagon trail next to tree stump checking on him*

Lia places her fingers in the dirt near the crushed flower's roots, after a minute the flower straightens back up good as new.

Time had gone by long enough for the spells Charia cast to fade. Although rested and able to cast again, unless they were about to fight, to Charia it seemed like a waste of energy.
She was watching Lia. Charia was familiar with druids and understood the powers they had, although communicating with plants did not seem as valuable as communicating with animals. Yet she was aware that plants do have senses and mayhap its is the residue left on them that Lia can glean information. Her attention then turned to Grimtooth, he had come a long way since they had met and she personally felt that what ever he would find would be of more value. She saw the guards still distrustful of Grim, not interfering but concentrating on their duties. The majority of them were the newer recruits the farmers children with one or two more seasoned veterans. Charia knew Adrastia would not give her more of her experienced troops. She was fine with that knowing they would be needed should the camp be attacked.

For now, although alert for dangers, Charia would just enjoy being around nature.

After a long half-hour, standing there without being noticed, Elowir approaches one of the men working, and greets him with a wave and a smile.

"Hello there friend, good morning!"

You approach a group of five men nearest to you by the water. They look up in your direction in one motion seemingly dazed, and with what seems the same thought four of them walk away in different directions as one approaches you with clarity returning to his eyes.

"Yes, hello?"

The caravan stops until 8:30 AM, as Charia stops to meditate for 20 minutes to regain her spells.

Grimtooth and Lia have a chance to talk or do things in this time. The path of trees stretches on for the entire viewable distance in both directions. The two nature types can tell that all the trees cut were of the same types, and that they go straight from one to another in a mostly straight line.

Elowir nods to the man approaching him, and gives a quick look over tho other ones, then back at him, smiling.

"Oh thanks for your time, I will be brief, I recognize you are busy. My name is Elo, I'm ranger and I usually patrol this area, and if wouldn't mind, can you tell me who are you people, and what are you doing here?"

Grimtooth sighs and looks around, looking at the surrounding area then back at the "camp" Tanking hisbow off his back, he ask those nearby
"be scouting ahead, anyone wish to come with?..Be safer?.."

He nods to her and heads off , the two of them scouting ahead abit.
"This be odd, not sure what to think of it, also not sure men like me... Find anything from trees and plants?"
He sighs deeply, This was strange, someone making a path, for reasons unknown and the worst of it, he got this odd feeling too, this would be too easy to ambush someone...

*follows grimtooth her bow in hand Arrna coming out of the trees to follow them* no didn't really get anything from the flowers though moslty arguements that would give you a headache. all i could get was tall men which could be any race.I don't think any of the men not like you but they are wary. remeber my fear when i first met you. it will take time. but no i don't like this path either. And need to find out who is cutting these trees down and why.

Charia watches the pair walk off hoping they will find answers.
She was getting restless and had a sense the men were also. She stands, stretches and turns towards the men. Knowing that they may have to camp, the wagon had tents and tools to assist setting up a camp, she decides to have the men start as who knows how long it would be before Lia and Grim would return.

" Ok we might as well set up camp. Lets start by clearing the area of the felled tree limbs. Also those destroyed wagons will make good firewood. There are axes in the wagon."

She looked at those assembled and assigned the teams all the while standing guard and alert.

The men look completely bewildered at the command to break for camp only a half hour after leaving, but do not disobey and follow commands.

Grim and Lia have followed to the end of the trail, but notice the rest of the caravan has not followed.

The forest is quiet save for one heavy snap of a branch behind you some distance.

In front of you, a wagon trail stretches into the visible distance.

Grim spins around and draws his greatswrod and point it int eh direction of teh noise, his ear twitch every witch way, and sniffing at the air
"might be best, Noise..being followed?" His voice was a low growl, and has face snarling, parts of his mane sticking up further.

*Lia jumps abit and as she turns towards the noise keeping her voice lower, has her bow ready *could carefully head back and check, hopefully it's nothing but i'd rather be sure. and then maybe best to head back to the group as well once we are sure it's nothing

As they turn around to head back, ten kobolds armed with wicked looking spears and short swords swarm forth from the bushes.

*as the kobald swarm from the bushes lia releases the arrow from the bow that she had ready tries to pick off a few more kobalds before droping the bow and grabbing her sword and shield to fight ever makes it close to melee range*

Grimtooth growls at them, knowing they wont stop, but proving that he wont let them kill him, Hackles raised he charges with his greatsword, not rushing so they hit first, but closing the gap, hopefully so Lia can shoot at them with her bow.
