booted all the time

why is it every time I try to log in with a character I get booted??

Maybe your CD-key doesnt match your account?
(Atleast i had a problem like that after i wanted to play with another CD-key)

Have we resolved this issue with you online yet? (or am I confusing you with another PLAYER?)

The booting is a result of your using another player's username OR your CD KEY is not unique OR your CD KEY is already associated with another playername.

If you are using a gog.com version of the game, go to this URL to get a unique CD KEY


Otherwise, try a different playername. Alternatively if you can prove to me you are that player whose playername you are trying to use, I can flag your account to use that username again. CONTACT ME FOR ASSISTANCE if needed.

NOTE for folks who purchased NWN from gog.com

The GOG version downloads so that all have the same CD KEY - you need to make sure that you get a unique cd key from gog to play here... how you do it is easy...


Click on ACCOUNTS button near top of page, it will show your games, NWN will be in there unless things went awry. Look for the down pointing triangle on the game lower right corner... click it and select VIEW DOWNLOADS.

What is shown next are the files for the game, download each of the parts as well as be sure to get your unique cd key for use in multiplayer games ... do this by clicking the MORE buton and selecting SERIAL KEYS ... copy paste this into a text file for later reference (archive this for future use too). How to edit the cd key files are explained on gog's web site or just ask me and I'll give you a walk-thru.
