Is there more info for the Infernal Master Empty Re: Is there more info for the Infernal Master

There have been many great philosophers and prophets, but very few are known as both. The later Shwoogan Dynasty provided us the great philosopher Fezan Lorktan who first mentioned the Infernal Master in his masterwork "A Long Crawl to Darkness" in which he explored the suffering of the world's inhabitants as a general class. It was in a later work, written after an illness that some say drove Lorktan to madness, that an actual description of the Infernal Master debut. Lorktan died penniless and some say mad.

Fezan wrote in "A Long Crawl to Darkness" that evil cannot justify nor support itself alone, that its existence is therefore indicative of a greater evil being whose purposes are served by all the myriad evil acts perpetrated in the worlds.

Two centuries later, it was among the wild peoples of the southern Keysan that the prophets voice was again heard. Legend has it that, while boiling their vanquished enemies, that the flayed body of Fezan Lorktan mysteriously appeared in the stewpot. It stood in the boiling vat and recited the complete works of Fezan Lorktan in the native tongue of the Keysan people. It was on that day that the Seventeen Grave Shaman recieved their tutilage, it was on that day that they all consumed the boiled flesh of the prophet and swore their oaths dark to service of the Infernal Master.

Since that day, the cults founded by the Seventeen Grave Shaman have spread and manifested in (often horrible) fashion in many other cultures around the world.
There are seventeen very different versions of the Lore of the Infernal Master, it is not unheard of that infighting should develop among the cultists should they encounter one another such is their inerring belief in their own dogma. At the heart of the beliefs of the cults founded by the Seventeen Grave Shaman is the sense that all evil serves the Infernal Master. Devils, Demons all the sort, knowingly or not, they serve the Infernal Master. Across the Abyss and as far as the Hells there are those who would aver otherwise but the dogma of the seventeen cults is such, and although no creature has ever stood up and announced that it is the Infernal Master, some dark power answers the prayers of the cults' priests, and powers their evil miracles.
