He's got the elves slaving away, and what ever could they be toiling over? Could it be a holiday update?

It has been a long, long time. Back in the day, I would update the server once a week, the last time the server got an update was last year (2015)... and there were 92 updates from Eriniel pending.
I set to work getting the updates added to the module and today, with Eriniel's GENIUS help, we got the new version of the module LIVE on the server!
Login and see some awesome new features and fixes (more details on these to follow in this thread).

There was a new update to the server over the weekend, and another one due out in the next couple days. Added were many more gambling options (now available around Dohral), many transition fixes, and much more still being tested.

I've been in the toolset all week - my back went out on me and my mobility went near zero for several days, so I spent them mousing about and sucking down bottles of ibuprophen. Whee.
While I'll say that working in pain is not as productive as working NOT in pain, I did manage to get some things done (lots of repetitive editing wheeeeee).
The result, I'm slowly recovering and you'll have a module update within a day or two.

More tinkering with the module today and expected tomorrow... possible update. The hard-core death system is being tested now and over the weekend. Let me know how you find it working (not tonight it is still very rough, but after next update, feedback please).

UPDATE scheduled for tomorrow to fix the mini arena feature. Will also implement new options for 'hard core rules' adoption on a per PC basis.
DEATH OPTIONS WILL INCLUDE:
One and Done! PC is reduced to NO SOULRUNEs - thus one death is all the PC gets. Combat XP awards are improved by X2 on this option.
Standard Set! PC is issued a single 'standard set' of SOULRUNEs - this is FIVE plus CON MOD (which means a range of 1-9). Combat XP awards are not improved on this option.
Other settings include -
NO DEATH NERFING! - at standard setting no SOULRUNES are consumed in the process of RESPAWNING a PC which dies at level 1-5, we consider this 'Death Nerfing', selecting this option turns that feature OFF so that any death suffered by the PC is allowed ONLY by the spending of SOULRUNEs, regardless of PC level. Choosing this option improves combat XP awards by 50% for PCs within the nerfing range.

I just uploaded a new update to the module and restarted the server. In about 20 minutes you'll be able to use the new options for death :

Tested so far :
One-and-Done! - the system allows for selling off of all life tokens, and one death is final. Tested successfully. NOTE TO SELF, add the 'carrot of death' to the _Elsewhere_ area so dead PCs can be deleted if desired.
Eriniel just popped in so I'll do more testing later! C-YA!

I've been working on the module this weekend and will have a new update for tomorrow, many superficial edits, some script fixes (limits soulrunes properly now) and other fun to be tested before I announce it
