New player with a couple questions

Are there restrictions on prestige classes that i didn't find documented here or the wiki? I ask because i went to take my first level of palemaster and was refused and got a message to contact a DM. Are there other PrC restrictions not noted as well?

Secondly, there was mention that a character could be from another plane/world provided there was adequate backstory and reason to be here. Does this include Norrath, the world of everquest (particularly from the Age of Turmoil)? If so, there was mention that one could worship their god from their plane even though not in game, does this ruling still apply?

I'd like to play a necromancer who is a follower of cazic thule and is chasing his own undeath due to a desperate fear of mortality that was displaced to this world when, as a fledgling mage getting in over his head, an experimental spell formula was botched and he ended up here. Intention being for the player and the character to learn the world together.

OK, I'm monitoring the server in case you pop in to chat and hammering out this message all the while.

I've got to depart to accompany a friend to the hardware store in a little while, that will take about 2 hours and after that I'll be monitoring the server most of the day. If you see my avatar loafing about, make noise (voice vfx) to attract my attention.

Palemasters _did_ have a few limits put on them, but you'll forgive me please I'm a bit rusty on the details so bear with me as I dust off the notes and try to organize the whole a bit better (something that needs doing here tbh - I'm overdue to release a new players guide and try to keep the forum up-to-date as a stop-gap until the new version is ready).

No problem, it's just the luck of the draw. I'm sure we'll chat on the server soon. I'm looking into what limits may be on PM now by sorting thru the scripts - sometimes the documentation lags the scripts and I think that is the case here. We'll sort this out soon.

Yeah i figured it was made application only at some point or something like that

Just in case it comes up, Red Dragon Disciple is also restricted and the quest to unlock it currently broken on the NWN:EE version of the server.
