Darned good question. I did a search of the forum myself and came up empty on this one. SO... here you go.

Pack animals are found with a vendor just outside the city of Dohral, exit the city in North Donnel and you're practically on top of the fellow who sells them.

Mounts (horses) are available (at high price) from a vendor just north of the pack animal dealer.
