Ioun Stones Empty Ioun Stones

Happened across an interesting Ioun stone the other day.

Purportedly it renders the wearer immune to the need for rest. It has a unique power unlimited times per day but appears to have no function besides giving the user a shield buff visual effect.

Are there other non-standard ioun stones out there? I read an article about a ton of different and interesting ones the other day.
