Charia's Chronicles
Having returned to the temple and sitting under a tree, Charia takes out a book and writes.
" Although I do not know my heritage, it seems at least so far I have chosen the correct life path. I have rather quickly risen in the clerical arts through the grace of Rhenallathan so much so that I have garnered interest in a variety of peoples eyes. While still early in my studies I was tested and approached by a representative of the Dark One who unsuccessfully tried to recruit me, though I feel may not stop and may be watching me still. Maybe it was Rhenallathan who guided Fen to me and had her teach me celestial and abyssmal as maybe I will face such evil again.
I am gaining proficiency in the making of potions which will help me conserve having to tap into the blessings of Rhenallathan who graciously gave me a divine belt to aid me. Although she thinks highly of me, the high priestess has yet to teach me recipes using other components besides what I learned in the college. I gather I still need to prove myself. My prowess in battle has also improved as I have increased my skill at crafting and enhancing weapons and armor, though still have far to go. Through Fen, I met a man named Tsully who has refined the art of enchanting and enhancing weapons. He enhanced some weapons for me as I had the materials and said that the only charge for what he did, was to mention his name though any future requests of him he would charge. I am quite anxious to test the new weapons.
I will keep this journal seperate from the other to track my progression."
Smiling, she closes her book and stows it in her pack.

Applying Holy Water to Objects
Sitting in the college cafeteria she opens her book and writes.
" It seems an extra step is required when adding holy water to an object. My priestess explained that the cleric who blessed the water must also be the same cleric to apply it to the object and then dedicate it to their god. Although I was disappointed at losing the sword Tsully made, I went and practiced and was able to produce a weapon of my own as well as enhance some armor.
I ran into Fen later that day and was able to enhance a scimatar and it survived. Knowing that I should properly thank Rhenallathan for allowing me success, I was on my way to the Temple when Tsully arrived.
I explained what had happened and luckily he and Fen had the materials to recreate the weapons she lost. I took the weapons, blessed them and binded the water to them and Tsully was able to succeed and Fen got the weapons she needed. It is not as easy as it sounds as unless I have a scroll each blessing takes a bit of energy out of me and also taps into my god. I have asked both to be on the look out for scrolls of blessing.
I feel pleased that I can do this to help keep the forces of evil at bay but also to I must used discretion as to whom I make the weapons for. Naturally I will charge fees for my services and will tithe a generous amount to my temple.
Smiling she closes the book and heads for the Temple.

Mediator
Sitting in the college cafeteria, Charia opens and writes. " Rhenallathan has shown me another possible path, that of negoitator or peace maker. The situtation at the college between the city guards and Tsullt in reference to Thomas, the captain's son, had escalated to almost a war - like atmosphere. I was able to defuse the situation by bringing up family ties and responsibillities as well as reprecussion from taking the law into one's hands. I was nervous as I thought I had doomed us all. Praise to Rhenallathan it was not, my words were heeded and bloodshed averted. However whether my words would take root in reference to future actions are yet to be seen."
She closes the book and decides to go to the Temple.

Confidante
It has been awhile since she has written down her thoughts, but so many things have happened that Charia needs to write them down to organize them. Sitting under a tree in her God's temple she opens her book and writes.
" I do not know if it is my personality or the fact that I am a cleric, but people have been open with me in disclosure of some of their most personal thoughts both their hopes and their fears.
However this can be a double edged sword espically in the case of Ne'sekolah. I have managed to help him adjust to this plane and to his hertiage as being somewhat unique myself I can understand.
One of his greatest desires is to be able to return to the shadow plane. He has been tempted by a dark force in a cave in Tivook and I have for the moment convinced him to seek another way.
That way presented itself in the way of a highly decorative urn which we later found out housed a Djhinn. Ne' was attracted by all the jewels and the power within but I knew it could be danger if he got a hold of it and wished. Reluctantly I summoned it and thought would only grant one wish so I wished it not of this plane, however this Djhinn was tricky. It was able to communicate from the other plane and said I had two more wishes. I saw the look in Ne's eyes and decided to grant him his wish however the Djhinn takes words as spoken no changes. Ne' does have the ability to travel between the shadow and this plane but so do others as I forgot to specify that he should be the only one. Now there is a portal opened somewhere however in the desire to help a friend I may have brought unknown trouble to my world. However on the bright side that particular Dhjinn will not be bothering anyone else.
Fen- I have assured her that she can rise above her heritage and defeat her sister if need be and she assured me she would try not put me or her other friends in danger.
Godo- this goblin through my influence and Fen's has been somewhat more civilized in his actions towards others especially in my presence however how he acts when with Iso, Fens evil sister.
I am realistic though he is what he is and will never be totatlly civilized.
Lycans as a general rule are savage and cruel, mindless creatures however I know a few who are not. A few "lycan hunters" as they refer to themselves have recently arrived with the sole purpose of total extinction of any lycan. This bothers me as I know a few lycans who are not like the ones they seek and I have been able to warn one and hopefully I will be able the others. I will not go with the hunters as for fear unknown to myself I could kill one I know.
Ashara- Through the grace of Rhenallathan I was able to help her so she and her unborn children would be healthy.
I will not stop helping people if I can but I need to think more with my head and not my emotions.
She rereads what she has written, then closes her book and decides to pray at the altar for peace of mind.

Motherhood
Sitting under a tree in the college courtyard, Charia opens her book and writes.
" I decided to go to Tivook to see if Ne was about, instead I ran into Ryan and a few others. They had seen Ne a few days ago but they also said the shadow cave was acting up again. No sooner had they said it whe the ground shook and the tremors were coming form the direction of the cave. We all geared up and headed for it expecting more tricks from the shadow but noone was expecting the outcome, least of all me. We were tired and about to leave when we herad a girls voice asking us to return her to her mother. We were a bit shocked at her appearance as she had Ne's legs. When we asked again where her mother was, the girl ran up to me and hugged my legs saying that I was which surprised us all. We were all pretty sure the child was a trick of the shadow, but she felt real and familair somehow. Without explaination a name came to my mind for the girl, Shara. She beamed and said that was her name and as we all left the cave she started to talk about myself and Ne as if we truely were her parents. We heard what sounded like a deep chuckle and rumbling from the cave and then it was silent and the presense gone. The girl showed me two horn stubs and said she hoped her horns would be like mine rather than the twisted ones of Ne.
We manged to get her to the inn where she was fed and rested and was a sort of amusement to Godo, who did not know whther he wanted to kill her or play. He saw the look I gave him and decide to play a game of tag.
After a few hours, we were all tired and not knowing what else to do, I took Shara to my temple as my mother had done to me years ago. I gave some coins to the priestess and asked her to care for the child.
She said to me that Shara was a child of the light and the dark and harbored both powers within her. She also said she would check the library to see if she could find out more. I wonder if my mother felt the same way after she dropped me off at the temple, a sense of guilt.
The thing is Ne and I have not been intimate so my guess is the creature mangaged to take essense of myself and Ne and created her. I have since seen Ne a few times and he too is puzzled but yet wishes we really were her parents and mates especially since he has seen her. I know I am not ready for that type of realtionship but am I ready to be a parent and to one I know not for sure is my own? I pray to Rhenallathan to give me strength to face what ever comes."
She rereads what she has written and closes the book and sets it beside her. She then proceeds to lay back on the tree and close her eyes hoping to rest her mind which was in turmoil.

What Price Friendship?
Sitting on cushions in the cave, Charia opens her book and writes,
" How did it get this far? From a simple request for a friend to a possible rift between the planes which could plunge the world into darkness. The portal I requested for Ne' seems to be feeding the Darkness. If Ne had found it and was able to return at least once mayhap I would not feel as I do. I have come to find out that Shara was a 'reward' for my having requested it from the Djhinn and is not really from myself and Ne. I made a deal to stay to save Fen and Sinistra however at a high price. I was allowed to escort them to the exit but immediately was pulled back to the lair of the darkness. It calls itself the Void and wants me as its priestess. Naturally I declined and though it took effort. Sinstra had returned with Melinda and with their help and the help of Rhenallathan we all escaped. I immediately went to my temple and talked to the priestess. It seems the Void and Rhenallathan have a history and that Rhenallathan once defeated it. While I was talking with the priestess, Melinda and Fen made their way to the Temple where the priestess revealed that if I wish to live, I would have to return or die slowly. The priestess provided me with supplies, Fen reluctantly went to find help and Melinda summoned a portal for me to return to Tivook. As soon as it was summoned a force interfered and I was immediately found back in the Void's cave. The creature produced things it thought would please me as a reward. Melinda bless her soul could not stay away and returned to check up on me. The Void was pleased and was going to keep her as well, but I pleaded for her release as well and seeing how other things it did, did not make me content, it agreed.
I will not make any more attempts to escape and I pray that away to weaken it can be found. I do not regret what I have done as I know my friends would have done the same. I just hope they are able to keep Ne' away and busy in trying to find the portal."
Exhausted she closes the book and attempts to go to sleep.

Parent/Prisoner
Enjoying the brief respite from the cave, sitting under a tree at her temple,Charia opens her book and writes.
" I have learned more about the Void's plan. In many ways it acts like a child despite is age and power and I think at times looks on me as a parent. In a way I am as it was my wish which open the portal and the divine power I unleashed to weaken it actually fed it. Its plan is to give people worlds that never were, that is to say, give them lives they wished they had. It showed me an alternative life for myself and then one for Ne. It has been a few months now yet no progress has been made to weaken it or free me. I have been growing weaker and told it I was dying from the isolation from the wrold I knew and my friends.
It was in shock at first and thought I was lying but then it examined me and new while my physcial self was not my mind was. It seems concerned so it has made a compromise that for every two day I am on the surface, I must return to it on the third day. I will try my best to rally my friends to try and find a way to not only free me but to if not destroy it, send it into a null space. It is almost time for me to return and mayhap next time I will seek the others out."
She give her farewell to the priestess and begins the journey back to the cave.

Heart Torn Asunder
In the barn behind Tivook Inn, Charia opens her book and writes,
" Frustration that I was not in It's total power, the Void made one last act of desperation, it removed Rhenallathan's presence. Previously it just destroyed His symbol. For those who are not clerics, it is hard to understand. A cleric's gifts are from their God, as they channel their god's powers, to have it abruptly taken is like having one's heart ripped out. Hoping it was just an illusion, I went to Rhenallathan's temple, and the priestess did not know me and the altar said it was not of my diety. It was then I felt empty, in shock and after crying for awhile I returned to Tivook and began speaking for the Void.
It seems however I still was not totally under, as the presence of friends seemed to bring me back for short periods. Poor Ne was confused at first, but then he understood and although it would mean the loss of travel to the Shadow Realm, he wanted me for me not some creation of the Void. I am too exhausted physically and mentally to even take a room at the inn but will sleep on the clean piles of hay. I hope this nightmare comes to a close soon.
She closes her journal and lays down and tires to sleep.

INTO THE LIGHT AGAIN
Charia awakens from one of the better rests she had in a long time. She gets out of the tent and streches, breathing deeply the scents of nature at the Temple. She goes to the stream, spalshes water on her face then returns to her camp, sits under a tree, takes out her journal and writes.
" The nightmare which was the Void has now been put to rest and again I am free to walk in the light of Rhenallathan. It was banished with the help of an orb given to Melinda by Valerion, who was aided by Ashara and A'rys. Even up until the last it was trying to sway them. Ne was pleased I was myself but disappointed the portal closed. I told him that maybe he should talk to Valerion as he is quite knowledgable and maybe with the remains of the orb shards given him by Melinda, he can succeed.
Valerion was quite upset at the loss of the orb and what he deemed Melinda's incompetence and was determined to punish her. I managed to calm him down and give him some better approaches to the situation, which he seem to agree to, at least in principle any way. I my concern is will Valerion try and somehow bring back the Shadow or some aspect as he too wanted the portal, I hope not as I do not want myself or the world to go through that again.
I can not dwell on that as now I need to continue my study in the clerical skills and brewing of potions."
She rereads what she has written, satisfied she closes the book and begins brewing potions.

Past Revealed
Physically and emotional tired from her recent experience, Charia, under a tree at the Temple, opens her book and writes.
" The priestess finally revealed to me the encounter the Temple had with the Void, prior to myself which in turn explains her change in attitude towards me since my encounter.
The woman who was approached by the void was none other than the priestess's sister. The sister was not as strong in her faith as the priestess or myself and was
easily swayed by the Void and managed to gather followers. The Temple hierarchy saw the Void as a serious threat so they took drastic measures. The result, the followers were killed and sealed with the Void with the exception of the Priestess's sister. The priestess took her body and buried it in a secret place on the Temple grounds with a marker far away from where the Void and the others were sealed, which apparently was the Tivook cave. The Void was frustrated that I was not as easy to convince as the previous priestess.
The priestess told me where she had buried her sister and asked me to visit her. I was confronted by her ghost who was still adamant in the righteousness of the Void. I tried to dissuade her but I could not. She agreed that I should send her to the next level or at least try to. She gave me a message for her sister and then I did the spell of banishment. With a heavy heart but a lighter soul I returned to the priestess and told her of my actions. Naturally she was angry and I let her rant. Afterwards she realized I was right and apologized for her behavior towards me as she was jealous and upset that I had lived and shrugged off the Void's influence while her sister did not. I hugged her briefly, joined her in a prayer for her sister and left her to her grief."
She looks over what she has written, closes the book and awaits for the priestess to return.

A New Ne?
Sitting under a tree at the Temple, Charia opens her book and writes.
" When I first met Ne, he was like a child in an adult body, scared and unsure of himself and surroundings. Through my help and those of others he has slowly adjusted to the world of light and has gained confidence in himself. We have been there for each other when it counted. I helped eased his discomfort when his wings and tail finally grew out however I do not know what help I can be as he faces his next challenge.
It is a rite of passage of sorts, maturity of the mind and personality as well as striking a balance between his duality. Sometimes he reverts to his simple draconic nature and then to his confident self. I told him I would support what ever the outcome would be.
We met a few days later but something was changed about Ne. I asked him if he had completed the ritual and he said no. Apparently he encountered an aspect of the shadow, a shard which was embedded in him.
The details were sketchy but apparently a man convinced Ne that it would help bring about his changes faster. Ne said he felt more powerful and closer to his shadow heritage. No sooner than he spoke the words, a halfing priest appeared. He confirmed what Ne has said about what the shard would do, however he went into more detail. He said that the changes in Ne would be irreversable that he would lose what he currently is and be full shadow dragon with no traces of his human heritage.
I saw Ne's face. Once again hope for him to discover his lost heritage had been shattered. The priest was not a cold hearted man and saw the pain. He said there would be a way to control the change or even stop it As the shard is dark energy, what would be needed is a item of light called the Eye of the Storm but only those of the divine may attain it. He said we would need to make a decision soon and to meet him at the rainbow in the log and let him know our decision.
Ne and I went away and talked it over. I told him I would support what ever he decided, but he would have to make the choice. Once again he asked if I would be his mate, sighting all the reasons why he should be the one. I agreed that if I was ready for such a step, I would concider him. However he misunderstood and thought I accepted him. We ran into Uglack and Ne blurted out I was his mate. Uglack seemed happy at the news but saw the look on my face. I told Uglack we were not mated.
I saw a look of shock and hurt on Ne's face. I whispered to Uglack about the shard and what may happen and told him to watch over Ne and Uglack agreed.
I do not know what Ne will do now, what I will do now. I will just have to wait and see how Ne feels."
She lets out a deep sigh and closes the book.

Scattered Energies/Scattered Hopes
Sitting under a tree on the Temple grounds, Charia opens her journal and writes.
" At the start, it seemed simple, defeat evil forces and prevent a greater evil from being released. Six would be entrusted with shards of power to do this though finding the shards and the proper hosts would be difficult. Too easily it seemd that suddenly people appeared to help and advise, one of whom was a magus named Yastin. He seemed in earnest and through him two more were found. Glen was given one and so was Melinda. However, given is not exactly the term, selected rather is more appropriate as the shards choose. Though to be successful, one must be comfortable with themselves. Glen was comfortable with who he was and fused successfully with the shard however not so for Melinda. for she has refused to accept the lycan within and thus has the shard sticking out from her hand. However, Yastin did not seem to concerned though I wonder, if she does not accept if we have a chance.
The current shard holders, myself included, seem to have shards for our natures with one exception, Sarafina who is a Vampire, got the shard of the sun. With this concern and others Ne and myself found ourselves once again in the presence of the Fey council. It was there we got more answers to the shards and met some of the bearers past.
One was a monk named Marcus, who was also a lycan and hearing about Melinda, offered to take her into his clan and try and help her accept her lycan. Ellen a vampire, once held the shard of the seer, now in posession of Linetta who found it ironic about Sara's stone. Vincent also a vampire offered to help Sara though it was clear Vincent was irriated that Ellen would not stop talking. It seems, after the shards are gone, some residual affects remain. Several of the shards are both passive and active and some are not. I found out for the most part, mine is one of defense and augments by basic abilities, though it does warn of danger while others have their shards speak to them. Ne and I left I think with more questions than answers but felt drained all the same.
Ne feeling a sense of urgency and panic, once again tried to convince me to be his mate. I gently told him no thinking mayhap that would be the end and we could concentrate on keeping the dragon bound.
A few days later Ne returned, mayhap due to the shard and time with the dragon, who indeed is his grandsire, he appeared more mature. Suddenly he held me close and gave me an extremely passionate kiss, then after what seemed forever, gently seperated. I was speechless but followed him as we walked away from the others. He looked at me straight in the eyes and with bravado, told me he finally realized I could not be what he wanted and it would not be fair to us both. With equal bravado I accepted his decison with quiet grace and dignity and then we left our seperate ways. My heart felt like it was shattered, yet I was proud he decided. I do not know if we will still be like siblings or if just allies in the war to come. I know many were hoping we could be.....
She stops writing, sets aside the quill and journal, holds her face in her hands and sobs.

Shards Revisted
At her temple, Charia sits uner a tree, opens her book and writes'
" The original purpose of the shards is no more and nw players have been added to the mix. Fen has recieved one and two recent arrivals a drgoon blood named Vashan and an elf named Nailo.
The shards initially where to keep the Shadow Dragon dormant however with the disappearance of some of the holders the dragon is free. However of his on choice he has stayed in his shadow cave and watched the porceedings like a game master.
Also a demon has been thrown into the mix, his name is Infractus and his attitude does suit his name. He and Vashan have an understanding and the demon has been helping keeping us informed of the battles.
The army of the undead and dark lord are fighting amongst themselves weakening each other.
We who have the shards still retain them and their powers however what they hold in store for us remains to be seen."

Outsider
Having returned from Tivook to her temple, Charia sits under a tree, opens her journal and writes.
" I have tried very hard to help my friends as well as keep up my temple studies, yet bothe seem in vain. Those who I sought to have answers for have perished, Nailo and the celestial Luna. Vashan's condition has gotten worse yet she is
unable to heal him. Ne has found a new life with Ronja.
As for the shards, I and the others still have them but the original threats are now gone. Linetta has returned and has a kitten but still claims she knows everything do to her shard.
I feel so disconnected. I am seen yet not. I have gifts but yet unable to use them I have access to knowledge yet it becomes obsolete.
I do not wish to becaome as the priestess is isolated and alone yet it seems my lot to make friends yet be alone again."
She reviews what she has written and sets her journal in her pack and makes the long trip back to Tivook.

Turmoil
Having finished infroming the priestess of the council meeting, Charia sits under a tree, opens her journal and writes,
" So much has happened so much will happen. Things have been occurring so quickly that I need to write them down.
Finally after a long struggle, the Void has been defeated yet at a great cost, the loss of a dear friend, Tsully. Although I told him he had not, he felt he had failed me as a friend as well as others, the ultimate sacrafice, the giving up of one's life for others. His gamble paid off and severely weakened the entity yet the hole he left behind. Determined not to have his sacrafice be forgotten, I had a memorial commissioned and place by the entrance to the Mercenary Guild of which he was leader. I do have a part of him, Nailo gave me a bow Tsully had made, a token to remember him by.
Another strom is now brewing, one of mortal make this time. Apparently the actions of a white wolf and the hunters association threaten the stability of a pact by which lycans would be protected. A council of the various groups involved, time yet to be determined, will be held in Feyview. It will be decided if the current pact will hold or if a new one will be drawn. I will be there along with Fen and Grace.
Though one matter that weighs most heavily on my mind is Ne. Awhile ago, he myself and Fen ran into each other at the college. He was geatly upset that Ronja seemed to have forgotten about him. He did however, in a sign of maturity accepted my refusal of his proposal as for lack of better words, I was married to my church meaning it was more important. I had wanted to correct him, but realized, in that simplistic answer, he was correct. It was when he talked to Fen that things changed. Apparently, it seems thorugh a geas, Fen promised to allow Ne to court her. It happened during Fens time of great duality struggle between her darkside and light. It was apparantly a manipulation on the part of her darker half and Fen having s[ent much time in the Grove was unaware. This disturbed Fen as she found another potental mate in Zirra and this fact pushed Ne to his limits and I felt it was best to leave them alone for awhile. After what seemed like an eternity, they came out, Fen with a look of grave concern and Ne, a look so hard and cold, it sent a chill through me. It was not until I saw his post on the board that I realized the reason for his demeanor. He has posted a challenge to Zirra for the rite to be Fens mate. I know Fen, the real Fen only sees him as a good friend but Nes honor is at stake. I have not seen Ne since he posted that but I did see Fen and we discussed after the druid circle disbanded. Hopefully she will heed my advice and do nothing rash to interfere with the duel. I told her injuries could be cured and the dead raised.
Once again I feel the burden of destiny, yet this time I will not be alone.

Life Choices
Seeing that her mother is settling in and adjusting, under a tree on the temple grounds, Charia opens her book and writes.
" I never really gave much thought about my life as it has been busy but having my mother back has made me think a lot lately. I also did not realize how the actions of one can affect many.
Had my mother left me with the fey would I still be a priestess? Would I be married and have children? Would I have Ne?" * a stain could be seen as if a tear fell on the page*
"Had the priests known who my mother was would they have let her go? One could lose one's minds with the what ifs and what would be.
My choices also have had a great affect on others some positive and some negative. People have accepted me for me but I do not really know who the real me is?
In a few days time I will face one of the toughest choices I have made, to offically unite one who loved me and I loved him to another. I realize that it was my first experience and I still quite young despite my age in human years.
Mayhap I will meet another or not. I hope the one he chose is the right one. I will be glad for them and have my sisterly and priestess face on and hope my resolve does not break down. I also pray that no violence occurs as a dragon marrying a human.
I am looking forward to talking more with my mother at least she was returned to me."
Charia rereads what she has written, closes her book and prepares for the wedding.

Ne's Wedding
Sitting under a tree at the Temple, Charia opens her book and writes.
" It was a nice an simple wedding with basic decorations. An arbor was constructed and framed with flowers for me to stand under and preform the ceremony.
There were candelabras about and the center isle was strewn with daisies. Simple chairs were set out two rows each on either side. Rhonja's mother and father seemed pleased.
A few people came. Zeff, Grace, Silver Oak and Zirra.
I coached Ne into what he needed to do as he was in every way acting like the nervous bridegroom. Ronjas gown was simple and white.
I kept the service short but combined elements of fey, elven and human traditions. We held our breaths as a member of Adrastia's chapter was there as it seems she was busy.
Aside from the long winded speech he presented them with some unusal gifts. Zirra caught Ronja's bouquet and was a bit confused at people's reaction to it.
There was a celebration party at the inn and Ronjas father publically acknowledged Ne as his son. There was much healing in that phrase. Ne came over and hugged me thanking me for uniting them.
In perfroming the ceremony, it closed a chapter in my life, adding another memory, if some what bittersweet.
I was about to leave when I was called over by Etri. It seems Zirra was impressed by the ceremony and wished to have her and Fen united that way. As if educating Ne on life, trying to explain to two drow well.
After what seemed an eternity, Fen I believe got teh basic idea behind it. Now whether or not she will act upon it or ask me to preform the service, has yet to be seen."
She closes her book and heads for the college.

Treaty Woes
Charia, her mind in turmoil after the day's events goes over the possible backlash and decides to write it down.
"The information from Triss, although it shed some light also gave us more questions than answers. Who were these people in the dark robes and masks? What was their real purpose? How will the lycans react when they know one who killed their number is being kept from them? Have I jeopardized the fey by having her there? I must stop all these what ifs and deal with the facts.
I make no apologies for my actions. I was charged by the council to try and uphold and protect the treaty and Triss deserves as fair hearing. Grace interviewed her and I spoke to Fen who will speak to the Druids.
I do find it odd that the Hunters Guild and the Chapter have remained silent. It will be a miracle if we all can gather again. I fear once again I have made myself a target. This time to both lycans and the people who encouraged Triss. I cannot be like the priestess and hide from the world in the temple nor can I be like Adrastia striking out just because. I have been raised to act more "human" but I am not. I am Fey and I am Elf and it is time I accept it and the world as well."
Satisfied at what she has written, she closes her book, takes the last sip of her drink wave farewell to Etri and proceeds to go back to the Temple.

An End to a Time of Tyranny?
Having finished repairs to her gear, Charia sits in the colledge cafeteria and having just finished a meal she opens her book and writes.
"It has been some time since I wrote anything down. The priestess wishes me to continue the narration and I will. I am piecing together the latest puzzles she gave me as well as what my mother has said.
However something else interesting came up. I had finished making potions and was on my way to Tivook as I usually do before heading to the temple. Shortly upon my arrival at the inn, Etriana came and said that to people left and had not been back for awhile, well one woman and a gnoll. I had a feeling the gnoll was Grim, but was unsure of the woman. I quickly prepared myself and head towards the last direction they were seen, west.
As I was heading west I ran into a tribe of those damn trogs. I quickly dispatched and ran forward I saw Grim lying on the gorund and a female archer fightingvaliently. As I got closer I realized it was Destiny. We managed to drive the trogs back long enough for me to raise Grim Upon doing so they returned and we quickly dispatched them and ran to the inn. We barely had time to rest when an unknown bartendress approached us and mentioned a woman was last seen in the caves. Destiny naturally was interested as the woman may have been her sister. Zeff had wandered in and after a few minutes we decided to start our search.
As we neared the cave, the trogs attacked once more and again we dispatched them quickly and headed towards the cave when we were stopped by a man in distress and quite disheveled. I barely recognized him but he was Antonius, the Chapter representative or the renewed treaty in regards to lycans. He explained the Chapter was in shambles and most members dead and at least two missing. He mentioned Adrastia still lived but was not herself but in a dark mood feeling guilt for what happened to the chapter and her survival. I offered my condolences for the losses of lives and mentioned that mayhap Adrastia's mood and fall was penance from Finishi for her actions. Well as expected Grim was confused and Antonius shock and defensive. I said no more and waited for us to continue our search.
One may think it was presumptuous of me to say what I did but I felt it was not seeing what my own priestess went through having lost many of her people in an action she sanctioned through highly charged emotions.
My ability to return my mother, thus showing her failure in protecting her charges and raising me was Rhenallathans way of showing what happens when power controls you. Granted I am not perfect.
Adrastia during her prime continually flaunted her powers and her Chapter. Some how convincing the council to give them guardl ike status. She would ram her ideas down peoples throats, attack things she deemed against. She started to become so zealous that unless you were with her you were against her. Prior to her disappearance she was but a step or two away from being a blackguard. Even the few times she helped save the city she wanted to dominate and be the savior for all and most times harming her allies.
I am not the only one, but for the longest time people felt she and her group should be brought low. Granted not in the matter it happened. No one god or belief should try and rule and dominate.
I just pray in the prison of her own darkness she sees the light and error of her ways. I pray too that I will not fall into the trap she and my priestess did.
Our search for the mysterious woman ended no results. was she real or mayhap a construct of the void unable to last long due to the void being weak. Destiny's search was given hope when she talked to a bear in the cave who said they had not smelled human or any other creature in a few days. I suggested to her that mayhap she gather more trackers and maybe using her skills with the animals to help aid in the search for her sister and the missing chapter members. We parted ways at the inn. I wish her success in her search."
Feeling somewhat of lighter heart and mind, Charia closes her book and prepares to head to Tivook and eventually her temple.
