Little help for a new player

Hi!

Invited by a friend, my first venture into NWN multiplayer. I am having trouble connecting. I can make a character, but when I try to log on I get a black screen and after a minute i get "Server response timed out. You have been disconnected." I have all expansions, NWN critical rebuild and CEP 2.3.

I do get an error message when trying to connect to master server, though.

Any help appreciated!

Probably an issue with GOG (Good old games) download, will post again if that doesn't work.

Just so everyone knows, the problem that Frederick was encountering was due to his having downloaded the NWN game from gog.com - to play multiplayer with a version from gog.com, you should follow the instructions in this URL:

Yes you need to wait for your own cd keys which as oda said should arrive in a few days.

GoG are usually pretty speedy in sending out the NwN Mulitplayer Keys, I also have a copy and when i requested my keys they arrived within a few hours even though it does say days on the site. One point to add is check your junk mail thats where Hotmail filtered my email too, just a heads up.
