EVENT: Chaos In the City

Word gets around damn fast.

Tragedy struck the guard and the city today, when a demon summoner Set in play a motion of event in the Guard barracks that cannot be undone, many injured and Even more dead, Around 380 or so, too many.And worse off, someone, within the guard betrayed them.So many questions have been left, did the summoner die?Who did this and why and most of all What does it mean for the city?Only time will tell.
Half the guard force was wiped out, in one night. All by one man, possibly tied to the past event at the baths, and worse off the barracks. In a sorry state, many of the rooms will need to be redone completely.The city dont know anything that happened, And hopefully they never will for should the citizens find out, the city will into a state of turmoil, looting and murders everywhere, and that is when "they" will strike, those that rule the city from the shadows. The very Group that the captain of the guard wants to wipe out.Will the city, and more importantly the guard ever recover from this? Only Gods know.

The city was alight with news.

North Donnel and Egbort and the surrounding areas came under attack from demons in the street. Dohral is no stranger to a rouge demon prowling the streets at night, but this was a near invasion. Rumours say the demons swarmed the Donnel Guard bulwark in North Donnel, massacring the guards within. Over the night, nothing was seen exiting the bulwark, although reinforcements entered, but many were too busy taking refuge in their home while the streets were purged, to notice. Some say the reinforcements that gathered were guards from the other bulwarks, while a few say it was a group of citizens who saved the bulwark. Eventually, nearly 24 hours after the attack started, the fighting seemed to be over- but when guards finally began to exit the bulwark, it was in far few number than had arrived.

The barrack had been near wiped out.

Later, Guardsmen were seen traveling the city, carrying a list, and knocking on doors. Families began to learn whether or not their loved ones- children, siblings, spouses- if they had survived, been confirmed dead, or were still missing.

Out of the many bulwarks (there at least being ten or nine), the Donnel bulwark was one of the largest, housing and training an estimated 400 guards. The death toll is still being counted.


The aftermath seems uncertain:

• Some are calling for a mass funeral, to mourn the loss of the City's guards and people.
  
  
• Other's seem eager to take advantage of the weakened guard force, and crime is expected to blaze across the city.
  
  
• In response, some of the guards are beginning to try and put together neighborhood watches, helping the people protect themselves. It's unclear yet what the consequences of giving untrained commoners the means to take some of the law into their own hands will be.
  
  
• Questions are being asked. How did this happen? Why did this happen? Faith in the guards may have taken a blow. Some point towards the rumors that the guards had to be saved by a group of adventurers. Some question how they could have let this happen at all.
  
  
• There has yet to be a formal announcement made, although rumours are trying to be controlled.

I wouldn't worry too much about fitting it for me, seeing as I have a hectic schedule.

Tomorrow (thursday) evening I expect I'll be hanging around with friends before we break for easter, but I might be able to get on past 7 (0 GMT) time. Friday will see me on a train for a good deal of the day, arriving with family and making sure I have everything ready and sorted for going to China the next day, so anything before 12 pm (0 GMT) is likely going to be spent with family. Even then, I think I'd end up staying up late chatting with my sister, so...

Yeah, thursday would probably be easier. I can aim for it.

And so, The summoner is stopped. His.. demons that were "supporting him" released, Yet Things were wrong, his motives, killing the guards the damage to the city?It made no sense.If anything i left more Questions. And the captain, who attacked him, there were, to many losse ends..Something was wrong.

The captain has fallen into a fever, he wasnt going to make it, except for some rare herb that A ma said would cure him, but with no name or description the were grabbing at straws.
Crystal decides to call in help, Adventurers, people who've explore far and wide- Hopefully someone Would know..

Gonna be a Fetch and deliver type quest with a twist, Bring who you want (no Guard PC's required.) Can move to saturday if needed.(minimum requirement of 3 PC's, can push down to two if needed.)

So they got the herb that was supposed to save the captain, now they waited, meanwhile a certain "prophet" caused havoc once again.
