How to build a Human Cleric?
On my first attempt to make a human cleric I did him lawful neutral and he was stuck on level 1
so I was told to make him lawful good and had my build destroyed and re did him lawful good with the very same results so how do I make one?

Re: How to build a Human Cleric?
Friend MD,
Our server uses an original pantheon of deities not the classic Forgotten Realms deities - for this reason and the fact that many are already familiar with FR gods and just make a cleric to suit the FR pantheon, then find out we don't support the FR gods... we built a system to 'fix' your cleric.
The first room your PC appears in after character creation includes an altar. This altar will examine your PC, and present you with a list of the gods your PC is suited to serve, you can pick one of the offered gods there and, that done, when you next talk to Haggis (the dwarf in the next room) he will make the adjustments 'stick'.
I hope this helps. There are a few posts about the deities we use here on the forum that should help too. The forum SEARCH feature should reveal these if not, ask and I will assemble a list of the specific links for you here in this thread (rushed atm).
Be well. Game on.

NOTE: Finshi is a sort of war/battle/bravery god, patron of many Fighters and Paladins... easy one to serve as a first try here.

I still don't get why the god of travel doesn't allow lawful neutral alignments.

finaly made one
I received a port back to Haggis from the DM where at the alter I picked a god then spoke to Haggis and I was done all fixed.
my only real question now is because I am lawful good will I still be able to attack evil players that try to kill me?

Yes, alignment shifts do not come from killing players unless a DM awards them, or punishes you with them, however there are some NPCs that even though they are hostile will cause an evil alignment shift.

Re: How to build a Human Cleric?
I understand that but if someone is trying to hurt my build and I can not find anyway out I am going to try my best to defend myself and possibly RIP the one or more trying.BobbyBrown15 wrote:Yes, alignment shifts do not come from killing players unless a DM awards them, or punishes you with them, however there are some NPCs that even though they are hostile will cause an evil alignment shift.

well defending ones self counts as self defense, and as such you would be in the right in that case. Lawful Good would remain normal
