The staff has already been informed, but I wanted to make sure others know.

If you make a HUMAN (ANY GENDER) RANGER, you WILL NOT begin with the items you need. You will begin with ten soul runes, a runestone, a grift pump, a log book and a guild journal.

It's probably a good idea to hold off on HUMAN RANGERS for now, but you can still make one, as everything you lose IS available at the Tutorial.
