RESOLVED - HARDWARE issue on my build system.

Friends,
As some of you may know, I keep two (aged) computers here, one is a windows box generally kept air-gapped (no Internet, no network) and the other, a linux box, I allow Internet access too under strict security measures. Due to circumstances beyond my control, the windows box is down - until I get proper maintenance on it, there will be no updates to the module.

I'm working on it and will keep you all posted in this thread. My apologies to you all.

Since this thread was started I have been without a useful BUILD system. Everyone please join me in THANKING ERINIEL for helping me to suss what was amiss and setting it right again.

Thank you to for your patience while I've been without my BUILD RIG. Now that I again have it working, I will resume my tasks which were left on sudden hiatus.

I will be a day or so getting things back to full motion here. Bear with me please.

Babysitting has many drawbacks they don't tell you in the job description

Apparently they know how to press 'ignore' and 'allow all' on antivirus and security programs.

This for poor windows is not a good combination.

No, Erin works MUCH faster than that. Sadly, timing was rough - spring has sprung and I had to divide my time between preparing the garden and working on the computer, so I had to delay working with Erin on a couple days when the weather was good for spadework. It took us about three days of actually working on the rig to get everything examined and cleaned up.

Yeah, desperate for cash sometimes I'll watch a neighbor's rug-rat. They are making them very clever these days, able to read along, follow prompts and 'click this to do that' oy.

Erin is both amazing and very fast/effective. Still, this was a nasty bit of trouble, I am very happy indeed it was something reparable, and ELATED to have the help of my favorite genius in the whole world.
