How YOU can HELP THE SERVER

Lets go people, We all play here, We are all practically family we are online so much together. A small donation to help our friend ODA wouldnt hurt? And just as importantly to help YOURSELF! This server needs 2 things to play. YOU and a SERVER TO HOST ON. Cant have one without the other,


Even if its the little amount of $4, Dig that bit deeper, Dont get that McDonalds, Wendys, KFC, Pizza Hut. Donate that money where it will go further and last longer!!

Even though I have just come here and I have never donated to any other NWN server, I think this one is worth donating to this one.
I may not play here all that long, but I really appreciate all the work and love that has obviously gone into this server.

I am sure many of us are strapped for cash, myself included. This may be the only time I will be able to donate $20, but $5 every three months should be doable for 16 people, and then maybe an odd donation just to keep that cat from stepping on the space key.

I will see if I can convince a good friend to play on Argentium Regio as well. Time constraints are a problem for him. He is a great player and I think he would enjoy it here.

I'm new to the server but yes, I was quite impressed with it so I donated this morning ($10) and yes, I can spare $4 or more a month to help keep it going. I've already talked to a couple of friends for meeting up and rp'ing here. I need to get a better feel for it before I can actually 'become' a character so I might do a few noob chars until once calls to me and keeps me focused.

Keep up the good work and please don't shut down. I just got here!!!!

First, and most importantly let me say THANK YOU for your continued support and help.

Another billing cycle on the server has passed. It is apparent that there ARE those of you who care about the server enough to chip in - IT IS NICE TO BE APPRECIATED, and we appreciate YOU.

I have transfered the money from paypal to the hosting company

PayPal balance:   $151.27 USD

We did not make the goal of $240, falling just under 90 dollars short. THIS ONE TIME ONLY I am making up the difference. I have taken a small personal loan from a friend to do this and I will be working to repay it for the next several months. It is a simple fact I cannot continue to do this - so if we miss the mark next time, expect the server to go dark and GM_ODA to vanish from your Internet.

If you love the server like we do, budget your donation and get it in timely for the next billing cycle which ends on MAY 18 2014. The goal again is $240 (our hosting fees).

Per the suggestion of Friend of the Server SHAR, I will prepare a set of graphics to inform you all at a glance about how close to fully funded the server is in the current billing cycle.

NOTE: My handling of donations is done as follows:

ALL donations are set aside for the sole purpose of paying the server hosting fees (which are $240 per quarter (of a year, e.g. three months). If in any billing period we exceed the needed donations, the excess funds are carried over for the next billing period's payment. If at any time we are sufficiently in advance of our payment due to cover an entire YEAR of service (the host offers a discount to those who pay quarterly - which is why we do so, and a better discount to those who pay by the year - which I would LIKE to do if only to save a few dollars)... we will switch to annual payments for so long as that is a viable option.

At some point in the near future, I will offer a separate donation option for those who wish to fund the official MAP OF THE WORLD - this map is derived from a commercial map product, which I have obtained rights to use; but I must still  purchase an original copy to do so. If you'd like to see a map of the world released, stay tuned for more information and the donation button related to that special item.

MANY things you can do to help the server - some need to be repeated from time-to-time. Now for example, at the beginning of the month the NWN Top 200 contest resets - so we need your vote again!

Every month or every other month we need you to go post something about the server on the BIOWARE forum on a board meant for the purpose of alerting other NWN players that we operate a server (this board is intended for the purpose of keeping us NWN gamers in touch with one another so USE IT).

Remember, it is important that visitors to those forums find our post 'recent' because that is what tells them there are friendly PLAYERS and fun here.

Neverwinter Nights is still selling well at places like gog.com - if you have a gog.com account go there and post something about Argentum Regio to help alert these many new NWN PLAYERS that we are here and ready to play multiplayer. Be sure to leave the URL of our site   playnwn.com

Excellent! Thank you for alerting us to your activity there. KUDOS fellow nwn-gamer! It is a big group this raptr NWN group? I heard about 3k members? What can you tell us about the group and the service? Would you supply a link to the service/site so others can read about it here please? Also, would you please post a positive message about our server there?

The amount of people who own NWN and have it installed is over 3000. The ACTIVE community is much smaller it seems. Raptr is a gaming service much like steam that tracks your gametime and awards points for playing, all the while allowing you to see other users similar to your interests. Raptr works alongside AMD to help optimize your games according to your hardware.  It can be downloaded at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and is pretty easy to use.

I'll make sure to post a good word on there about Argentum Regio. If and when you guys sign up, my username is joo3.
