Warning: Elixirs of Vitality

Apparently, if you convert all of your death tokens to potions and you die, you are dead forever.

I was sent to prison for wearing a helm that I bought called a Crier's hood. Only way out of prison was suicide. Gressels healed me four times, but now I am dead forever.

Thought maybe I had to fight the wraith thing in Elsewhere because she has no conversation and a 0 appears above her head. She killed me three times before I noticed the death deeds in my inventory. I have three now.  

Anyway, once again. Make sure you have some free death tokens in inventory, as the Elixir of Vitality does not work in the -Elsewhere area and you will be permanently dead.

UPDATE: Mr. Eckert is out. Elixir of vitality is still not working in the OOC start area. Server message says "Didn't Respawn Properly" and one elixir is removed

The Elixir of Vitality _should_ work anywhere. If your PC dies with no Soulrunes in your INVENTORY, your PC will go to the permadead place - to exit it, use the Elixir of Vitality to get a few Soulrunes in your PC's INVENTORY, then get killed again (for example, anger the afterlife creature). Once dead, respawn, all should be OK.

Looks like something is bugging the Elixirs for now. They are not working in the OOC start area either.

May I ask how you got out of the perma-death Area to test it in other OOC areas? Sounds to me like a DM ported you out (which is not the right thing to do so you may find scripts treating you differently).

I have used the vitality potions and they work. I have a few tokens about. If you store them in the green bottle use the wand of misc tools on it and a bottle will come out. Drink and tokens will come out then talk to the
craeture and boom you are free.
