EVENT: The Kidnappings Of Children Near The Citadel! (RESOLVED)

Event Info:
There have been reports of children dissapearing near the citadel, And a band of adventurers have discovered that this has been caused by a group of believed To be mind flayers, and that higher up's in the citadel may be involved, as all reports of missing children have been quelled, By bribery or ..death. On wizard has suggested two things, that the children are being transported by portal to a place called "The Ship" And that "the ship" may be something different altogether.For now the wizard will investigate the  portals while the adventurers Investiagte teh Higher up's

Reports are that many pesant children have been returned the children have been informed of their saviors, Radomir, An Extreamly Bard and fearless bard!, Pylia, A wonderful, kind Mage, who's heart is open to all, A cleric to Almaner and Sinstra, the beautiful Lady who helped them
get out of that place.
One more was a wizard who remains unknown.
Currently teh Nobles that were involved are attempting to find many homes for the children.
The mindflayers, while the few they met have been defeated, are not gone, simply pushed back, waiting for another chance to strike.

((I'm in no way a poet, or  a bard, so I'll try my best to be bardy but.. just imagine he has a reeeaally nice voice, alright? Also note that Radomir may have altered the story to his liking- you can never fully trust bards after all.))

A young elven bard, by the name as Radomir, presumed to be the same as in the tale, has been heard singing the tale in any inns of the realm that will take a fledgling bard.

Two elven wanderers impart
Radomir the bard, a blithe soul
Pylia the mage, kind of heart.

Th’Eastern Citadel they approached
to find food and bed was their goal
Yet instead a crime they encroached.

Children being brutally caught
by bandits cruel and heavy pursed
and so the pair and bandits fought.

Pylia, brave and resolute,
while help was sought, took on the worst
as Radomir searched, quick of foot.

Aid was found to fight the danger;
Ander, cleric of Amaner
Lia, druid and shapechanger.

The three aided the elven maid
Yet still the bandits fled afar,
the children taken or slayed.

The four would not forsake the youths,
and sought answers inside the walls,
and so unveiled sinister truths.

Those in power tried to stop them,
and misfortune the group befalls,
bard and mage turned to stone and gem.

But luck prevailed and aid came,
an unknown wizard broke the curse,
and told them of the bandit’s aim.

Their pockets were heavy with gold,
from officials for work perverse;
to feed youths to a danger old.

Mind flayer; psions; ithilids,
these monsters hid in another plane,
with the likeness of men and squids.

The four companions escape,
away from eyes unkind and arcane,
and waited as the plan took shape.

Lia left as another duty called,
but in place another would fight;
Sinistra, whose beauty enthralled.

To the Citadel they returned,
and heard of a noble’s moral plight,
who had the ithilid’s trade spurned.

His mind tormented by voices,
the dwarf told them the secret way,
and the allies made their choices.

The unnamed wizard helped once more,
as voices led the dwarf astray,
and so sent prey to predator.

Ander fought with divine power,
strong of arm and stronger of heart,
he led the group through the dark hour.

Pylia, skilled in bow and craft,
keeping hooked claws back with art,
as they pushed through the twisted shaft.

Sinistra graced in the arcane,
strategically cleared the path,
heart breaking at the children’s pain.

Radomir, wily and knowing,
used tricks and bow to slow their wrath,
and soon the swarm began slowing.

Soon the cruel pocket plane was clear,
and the Wizard magicked them away,
the youths returned to family dear.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! Hopefully with practice I'll get better at emulating a (aspiring to be) successful bard. Anyone have any tips or crits on the subjects are welcome to chip in.
